What harrahs property is the best one to stay at for the ncaa tourney besides ceasars?

I think any of the center Strip locations work. Flamingo, Harrah's, IP are all near Caesars, and all are cheaper. If you're going the first weekend, when it is also St. Patrick's Day, you're going to have to try to not have a good time, regardless of which hotel you are at.

Next year the games aren't until March 21st, so you'll miss St Patricks Day.

With that said, I always just stay at Harrahs.  I get discounts on the room and it's right on the Monorail to head to the Hilton (now LVH).  Planet Hollywood and Caesars both have nice set ups for March Madness as well.  At the same time, though, you'll want to check out different MM set ups, so I wouldn't spend a ton of time worrying about which hotel to stay at, as chances are, you'd only be at that hotel/sportsbook for 1 of the days anyway.
