Why are you so enthralled with the Golden Nugget?? Does someone in your family work there?? Do you have a friend that is a host?? I mean, what is up dude??? It is a nice hotel, but come on man????? haha |

#28 Posted: 1/10/2011 6:26:11 PM The nugget is a very nice place. Some of the casinos on the strip just cost to much, and like nc1 said, you can shop for lines very easily downtown. |

Sorry it's taken me so long to get back to you, but I don't check this forum too often. Yes, that is the spot. There is a bar attached to the TGG called Sidebar. A guy named Gerry is the main bartender and he is great. A friend and I stopped in for a drink on her 40th B-Day. We had just intended to have one cocktail before dinner, but we were there for a few hours. B/C it was her 40th B-Day he cut our bar tab by about 75%. Another place downtown worth checking out is a lounge called The Downtown Cocktail Room. |

#42 Posted: 2/28/2011 4:50:06 PM i was in Vegas in October and they had a Zip Line running down Fremont street. If it's still running, take the ride. I always recommend the guided kayak trip which starts at the base of Hoover Dam and is about 10 miles long. March is probably to cold. have fun |

Yo...nc1...I will be at the Nugget from Wednesday thru Saturday. I will be wearing some longhorn gear.
I may check out the Hilton during the games, but homebase will be downtown. Hope to see you there |
