#1 Posted: 3/22/2010 6:00:45 PM Wondering how you guys carry your roll to Vegas. I've done TC's before, but that's kind of bulky. Any other options? I've been thinking of opening an account at like Wells Fargo or some place that has a local branch in Vegas where I can get access to it. Could also get a cashier's check, I guess, but worried they'd hold it up until it cleared my bank. Also thought about a marker, but I don't want all my cash tied up in one casino.

#8 Posted: 3/23/2010 9:46:46 AM I asked this question a few months ago, and ended up just carrying my cash, and got to the room and put some in the safe. ATM fees and withdrawal limits don't interest me. |

If you are concerned about a $10 fee when going to Vegas.... you probably can fit your bankroll in your pocket without a bulge. |

#16 Posted: 3/25/2010 7:18:04 PM If you are in the US carry it in your socks and pockets.
if the screener sees the bulge and you take it out he will just let you go through. They dont expect you to put 25k through the xray |

they saw my bulge, they have those xray screeners now and you have to take your money out and hold it above your head but they don't say anything or ask anything about how much you have.

#22 Posted: 4/12/2010 12:41:17 AM How to carry 10K in benjamins.
Put it in an envelope, seal the envelope, put it in your underwear (whitey tighties only) next to your Johnson, and you won't even see a bulge at all. Jeans work best here to secure it up against your body.
Always remember you have it there. Just a quick innocent touch to reassure your self on occasion. DON'T FORGET YOU HAVE IT IN YOUR PANTS IN YOUR UNDERWEAR WHEN YOU GO TO THE RESTROOM. |

#25 Posted: 4/24/2010 12:28:33 PM It is 100% legal to carry any volume of cash inside the US BUT if you do have an issue because of something and they find you with over 10K in cash you have to sign a currency slip declaring the funds it is really an IRS issue at that point. I got caught going to the Bahamas with 25k in cash I had to sign a paper and send in a copy of my cash in cash out when I left copies are also forwarded to Internal Revunue and I'm sure it makes them look closer at your return, any recorded movement of cash is to be avoided if possible.........regardless of the purpose. |
