#1 Posted: 11/19/2012 9:28:39 PM Why are the Stampeders the favorite?
Isn't this being played in Toronto, versus the Argos?
WTF is going on here...

#3 Posted: 11/19/2012 10:00:32 PM Calgary also 11-2 in last 13 games. They're the best team in the CFL right now. |

#4 Posted: 11/19/2012 11:33:07 PM So its warranted, but just seems odd that the Argos being at home in the Grey Cup are the underdogs...
I actually took the Stamps at +400 and tied them into a parlay with a ncaa football and basketball game...pays +2315. Not sure if I'll hedge or not but I also do believe the Stampeders will win this game. |

#5 Posted: 11/20/2012 12:44:53 AM Toronto was 2-0 vs Calgary this year....although that really doesn't matter...like Argos at home...and they have the better defense. Should be a good game. |

I wouldn't really call the Argos the home team. Even though they are hyping this game in Toronto, it has been sold out for months and the people coming are not Argos fans. You might see some Argo blue sneak in now that they're there, but it's not really a home game. If anything, they might be spooked by the sell out crowd. |

I doubt they will be 'spooked' - they just played in front of 50,000 hostile fans in Montreal....and home team doesn't just mean fan support....they don't have to travel, and they are familiar with the field...don't have to worry about weather conditions etc. |

How do you know what teams fans are going to the game? And to say they will be spooked by the sell out crowd in friggin ridiculous. |

#10 Posted: 11/22/2012 9:49:04 PM really like the stamps in this spot. argos are questionable at the run, the stamps are a well oiled machine in every aspect. they have also won before and the HC/team knows what it takes to win a grey cup. focus was an issue brought up this week and the argos lacked it visibly.

The spooked comment was a joke.
But I can tell you whose fans are not going to the game, and if you're naive enough to believe more than 1/4 of the tickets were sold to Argos fans, I've got some magic beans to sell ya. |
