#4 Posted: 7/11/2012 2:24:29 PM Only 6-6? A .500 record and you call this the Cowboy Football League. Afraid you'll have to improve your record somewhat if you wanna provide a nickname for any league, let alone the good ole Canadian Football League. |

#5 Posted: 7/13/2012 3:35:05 PM Cowboy Football is a reference to the open style of play. I am longtime CFL fan, probably before you were even born.
Didn't get a chance to pick last nights game.
This week going with
BC Lions -3 and UNDER
Tiger Cats to Cover and OVER
Peggers to Cover and UNDER
GL this week .
Pinball care to post your picks |

#7 Posted: 7/19/2012 12:32:16 PM went 3 and 3 last week so YTD is 9 - 9,
this week going with the fav's all at home
Stamps -3.5 and OVER 52.5
Riders overachieving right now, can't see them in this game, Stamps should be combining both RUSH & PASS game for the complete victory. The total will be close. But hell this the CFL.
Tigers Cats -1.5 and UNDER 59.5
Als are still a sound team that we've seen in past but the cracks are showing. Cavillo is showing his age and fragility. I'd really like to see McPherson get a crack at starting a game. Both teams D will be better than previous games
Lions -8 and OVER 48.5
No contest here, Lions caught by surprise in Regina, can't see this happening again. Jyles and Joseph and the rest of Esks will fall big time to the Lions. Key to game will be the lack fo the Esks Offence.

#9 Posted: 7/20/2012 12:15:58 PM Riders/Stamps - game not exactly how I thought it would turn out. Too bad it isn\t mandatory for the xtra pt in OT otherwise I would have covered.
Best name for a QB - Bo Levi Mitchell |

Tonight I really like the Bombers to cover +3.0 at home, I won't go into great detail, most of it has already covered in other posts. Just my personal slant here....I like Brink better than Jyles or Joseph, as well just they have more of an O threat than the Esks. Esks have been putting up some decent D stats but I think at this point in the season they're misleading. I wonder if Swaggerville returns tonight????
As far as a Total goes, hard to really same but I'm thinking we're going to see more O tonight so I'll go with OVER 46.5
Speaking of Bomber O threats, if the season continues for Chris Matthews as it has so far he should be the leading candidate for Rookie of the year. That man has pair of hands and is a natural for the receiver postion. |

#18 Posted: 8/2/2012 2:24:52 PM Only 2 games this week
Taking the Als -2.5 and the Under 54,5. I saw of enough of the Als O last week and their resurrected D to give me the impression that the Als can take this one on the road. Under seems to just follow suit.
Taking the Lions -2.5 and the Over 53.5. Two revved up O's, all the markings of a shootout here. |

Going with the Ticats -3 tonight and being that Alex Brink screwed me on the Under two weeks ago I'm going with the UNDER 55.5
