#1 Posted: 7/1/2012 5:45:04 PM I've analyzed the darn out of this and this is a great value.
Reasons:
1. Defensively, the Dream may have an easier time Sunday when they face a Chicago Sky team missing leading scorer Epiphanny Prince.
2. Atlanta (7-7) has put behind a slow start, winning a season-high three straight to move within a game of slumping Chicago (7-5) for third place in the Eastern Conference.
3. McCoughtry's performance in the last game (24 pts) was a good sign for Atlanta, she had two off games before regaining her composure and looking like the scoring champion that she is.
4. Atlanta did blow a significant lead over Chicago in the first meeting this season. The Dream were ahead by 22 in the first quarter, but the Sky rallied for a 94-92 overtime win June 2 behind Prince (who is not playing!), who hit a tying 3-pointer at the end of regulation and added eight points in the extra period.
5. Atlanta won't have to contend with Prince on Sunday as she's out with a fractured foot. The Sky were off to the best start in franchise history before Prince went down but now have lost four straight.
Atlanta -2 is my WNBA play of the month. Take care! |

#2 Posted: 7/1/2012 6:00:16 PM Yes Iv been looking at this for awhile. I projected the line to be -3.5 so good value. But one thing that is making me disregard this game is Atlanta effort, its really poor. This season they just been giving away leads and luckily the other team they were up against sucked even more. Dream should be 2-12.. |

#3 Posted: 7/1/2012 6:01:36 PM This line looks to sucker in all Atlanta Dream backers. Good luck on this one, but I'll take 1st half Dream,

So much value on the under that its going over.
Under 157 for full game line, and adjusted total 153, so much value there.

#10 Posted: 7/1/2012 6:38:44 PM well if you were watching the game you would see that they stopped playing defense and just looked at the ball. and these girls get so frustrated so easily.. |

There's a difference between blowing a lead, and the other team doing something out of the norm. Chicago is a poor 3-pt shooting team, and they suddenly got hot. That's basketball. |

Yes, and what you watched was one team get hot...while the other went cold. Thats BASKETBALL. Blowing a lead would be missing layups or making stupid turnovers. Atlanta was missing jumpers which is unfortunately part of basketball. I guess if you expect a team to continue to shoot 50% while the other is at 30%...then sure. |

#25 Posted: 7/3/2012 12:53:29 PM Tough loss. Atlanta pissed it away. I won most of the losses back on a few baseball games, but a setback it was regardless. I'll post another game that I plan to bet on tonight. |
