Will post more later...but I see reasons for Indiana  to win this series.

One big disadvantage-home court for Phoenix

Indiana looked good when they were not being outrebounded or undersized. I dont see Phoenix being the physically dominant team that Detroit was, and that plays in the Fever's favor. I see Phoenix making a lot of very tough shots, and a great scoring team, but also gave up a lot of layups to the Sparks and I expect the same this series. I respect Anthony as a basketball mind and a coach, which is making me hesitate to back Indiana

Indiana will play in your face defense, and Taylor is a goot shooter but will not be getting the open shots against Indiana like she did against LA

Taurasi is an incredible scorer and great playmaker, which is another reason to fear backing the Fever.

Computer about to die...but as of now I am thinking of backing the Fever in this series. Let me know thoughts. Thanks

Agree, if ever the Fever are going to win it all this is the season. Fundamentally the best team in the league

Gaines not Anthony is the coach, just looked quick during the game and though it was Anthony. That takes care of the not-fading Anthony

Anyways....I think Phoenix is the more explosive team, but not the better team. I feel a game or 2 this series Phoenix will blow Indiana out, but Indiana will win the close games.

Taurasi is sick...but so is Catchings. I hated the way Gaines used Taurasi to try to stop Leslie down low (I missed games 2 and 3, please let me know if this strategychanged later in the series) I felt it was a lost cause to contorl the paint, and in game  1 at LA it nearly kept the Mercurys best player on the bench during the games crucial moments due to foul trouble.

Fever look very tough when they are able to rebound evenly with the team they are playing, which is the case this series. I think Douglas has a chance to light up the Mercury from beyond the arc if they are forced to help off Catchings and the rookie PG on the Fever. Mercury are the better shooters, if Indiana allows drive and kick 3's then this will be a very short series.

I am waiting on this line, but if it gets to +200, I am def. pulling the trigger on Indiana ML and fairly large. I have had success and made money overall recently by backing dogs at plus odds, and today I am on the Twins for 7 units and if that wins I am taking the Fever at +180 or above, if it loses I am waiting out to get +200 or higher

GL to everyone  Mercury have  the advantage tonight, but not to the extreme that the ML is at

nice write up, i totally agree with you.  ive been watching wnba since the playoffs started.  even though indiana has the defense, do they have the supporting cast on the bench to win it all?  and dont you think LA Sparks is a physicial team and mercury responded pretty well to it.  imo

Sparks are a physical team, but not a defensive minded team. I will admit I was only able to watch game 1 on tv, but Taylor's 3s were wide open and no one played help defense when Taurasi drove to the hoop. Phoenix is a great scoring team, and it helped when you played an LA team which relys on its rebounding strength and lets you shoot a lot of open jumpshots (which Phoenix made all night on them and nearly lost game 1 on the road)

Indiana will (I hope anyways!) Play help defense, and contest shots. When they did that against Detroit, they would have won game 1 at the Shock if they were able to secure defensive rebounds. They will I believe force the Mercury into some misses, and unlike Detroit, I expect them to grab the boards tonight

I see Phoenix having an advantage in this game but a game which in my mind I would lay Phoenix up to -155ish, but definitely will bite on Indiana if I see +200. Its all about value in the long run, and I see Indiana +200 as a good value play in game 1. If they do play help defense, and lose game 1, I will back them again in game 2 and hope for a split to profit. If they win game 1 I will lay off cuz I see this series 1-1 going back to Indiana. Good Luck either way you decide to play!

I also like Indiana's chances to win it all.  It will be closer than people think.

Anyhow, the 2 best teams are facing each others, we should see some interesting games.

A lot of respectable cappers on Mercury, so I decided to add in my favorite MLB play tonight so that if it wins the Fever have a shot to win big for me. Tonight, big play

12ish units to profit over 40 units on Cards -124 + Fever ML +200

Katie Douglas is important if Indiana wants to beat Phoenix, the one game Phoenix beat Indiana this year Douglas was injured and did not play

Indiana at +200!

Think these teams ae more even then peeople think,as most on here seem to think its an easy, plus they split on the season with road team winning.
Should be a good series and If my book gave me a series bet Ind.at 2-1 is a good play.
GL to everyone.
Thinking of taking Ind-FH,waiting to see if it goes to 3.

After all the hoopla of the four games, odds are back exactly to what they were before Finals started.
