The preseason is just like anything else. In reality, if you gamble too much, and you dont have discipline, you will lose money and the books will win. I'm guilty of it, and many others are. I'm much more disciplined than I used to be, but the point is this: Preseason is just like the regular season. You need to cap the games as well as you do in the regular season and you need just as much discipline. If you dont, you'll lose money. Just like you do in the regular season. Pure and simple.
And believe me. I lost money in that game. I had Carolina to cover but I also had the over. So I only lost the juice. I was lucky that the Eagles came back and scored that much. I'm not a genies (as if you thought I was ). And I dont have a clue when it comes to capping preseason games. Not a clue. That's why I bet small in preseason. And I should bet smaller! Why the fuck do I even bet preseason? I guess because it's fun. The thing is, if you bet for fun, you wont make money. That's the only reason I only "lose a little" during preseason. Because I sure as Hell never make a ton.
I'm lookin' forward to week one. That's for damn sure.

I forgot to mention that that type of thing happens (as you well know) in the regular season as well. Sometimes things happen in games that you just cant cap or predict. It's fun though when you're on the right side of that crazy shit.
I once lost an NCAAB game because someone got fouled with .1 (yeah, one tenth of a second) left on the clock and the free throw ruined my cover. A meaningless freethrow at that.
You talk about pissed off. FUCK. That's just ridiculous.
True story. I kid you not.

geez get over it, preseason or regular season it does'nt matter. The bottom line is you could have bet the other way and won I had the over in that gm btw. I also had the under in the skins last gm that went soaring over the total, now would it be fair to bitch & moan about that no way.
There is 2 sides to every wager, if you seem to be on the wrong side all the time that is not a reflection on the gm itself but it is a reflection on you. Try changing what you do to cap this stuff, and if you dont change then what makes you think your fate will either.
