Don't know if you read/heard this, in minicamps JJ had the def grabbbing evry loose ball and taking it to the endzone in an effort to drive the point home that they must have more big plays/scoring. Last yr they suffered from the lack of playmakers. Samuel helps this.

Samuel will be a HUGE bust in Philly and i will explain exactly why.
The patriots NEVER play man to man coverage. they are always in some type of zone where there is Saftey help over the top of the CB's (typically a cover 2 or a variation of that). they never ask there CB's to man up 1 on 1 coverage with no safety help. that is why Samuel was so successful in this scheme. Samuel is great at reading routes and jumping them agressively. He could do this with no hesitation in NE because he ALWAYS had safety help over the top. he is a great playmaker when the play is in front of him but is not suited for bump and run man to man coverage. he will struggle against big physical fast WR's in man coverage. how and why the eagles think he will be successful in a coverage he has never played and does not have the natural ability to play (he was a 4th round pick with 4.5 speed).

They will not cake through the NFC East as its the toughest Division in all of the NFL.
Noone will dominate the NFC East and if anything it will prob hurt one of the teams not only will they not make the playoffs but it will hurt home field advantage.
PS Dallas will not dominate the league either

They certainly won't. You won't see me making any outlandish statements about my team on these forums. All the pieces are in place though, the talent is there and the QB is more experienced now. IMO, with all those pieces (primarily the additions to the secondary) now in place I think they SHOULD win the NFC East. That's not saying they will, but, they SHOULD. I agree, being in such a tough division will probably hurt whoever comes out of it. It should be a very fun year though and like my teams chances...I'm excited!

I always like the blitz scheme and aggressive eagles defense. They just need to convert those TO's into TDs and capitalize. They should definitely improve. Not sure if they're top 3 because they play in a tough division.

asante will get exposed this year in your def schemes of blitzing and playing man to man.. the patriots play mostly zone coverage disguised as man to man...asante always had over the top help freeing him up to take chances...he is a very good player but not the best man to man corner out there...

you want to know what's funny. i come to this thread looking to contribute REAL information to help fellow gamblers out. i am a raven fan and have no bias on the topic either way. you come here as a eagle fan defending your team with no basis for your argument except that:
A. i am a clueless o-coordinator and don't know anything
B. the pats have old LB's (still better then the sorry eagles LB's)

my initial post had reasons like he has never played man to man coverage with no safety help and he never played bump and run coverage he only played the "off" technique and was able to read the QB's eyes and jump routes. you can't read the QB's eyes in bump and run man to man coverage.
so in conclusion i bring real thoughts that make sense from a non bias position and you bring stupid opnions that are blantantly not true (eagles have better LB's and create more pressure) from a homeristic point of view
