always, glad to see you were on hamilton + as well. Bad conditioning is absolutely correct. Tied up with injuries and bad fundamentals on defense the Eskimos played pretty much exactly the way i expected them to. Shading them however will depend on how fast their players get healthy and the number the books give on saskatchewan. Im guessing -7 ish.....they will set a lazy public money line on calgary bc and let the money dictate where the line moves. CGY BC can easily open as a PICK, however it WILL NOT SUPRISE ME IN THE LEAST if the books open the Saskatchewan line at a super mean number like -9 to differ the 6 point teasers. I know of some offshores like canbet.com who dont even activate the teaser options for cfl games and/or certain nfl/cfb games for that very reason. And the books that DO might set it at -9 just so 6 point teasers which are juiced usually even money or -110 will be differed. But another possiblity is they can just open the line at a 7 and let the line flicker back and forth to -6.5 and -7.5 and cash huge on the TOTAL. I can imagine the under getting a lot of airplay here so maybe going over late could also be an option.
only 2 games though which makes time management a hell of a lot easier. i guess time will tell when the lines are released.
are you capping nfl preseason always?? if so how are you doing?? im thinking san diego -2 first half line today...i like the trends of the new coaches playing the PS openers at home and the media seems to be flashing this whole "thomlinson wont play" sign all over the place encouraging the seattle points. Seems to be a lot of people on the board taking Seattle +4 and the OVER and my gut instinct thinks sd -3 and under would maybe be a better option??
san diego in the first half looks like a solid play..minimal but solid. Sorry to go off topic just wanted to see if you were capping it or not.

EDMONTON -- Danny Maciocia walked into Commonwealth Stadium Sunday and delivered what he considers an optimistic medical report on his battered Edmonton Eskimos.
"We're walking and breathing," announced the head coach. "I guess that constitutes being alive, right?"
Alive, but barely moving after beating the Hamilton Tiger-Cats 19-17 Saturday to push into third place in the CFL West Division. Three Eskimos went down in the first quarter: guard Kevin Lefsrud (concussion), defensive end Charles Alston (abdomen) and safety J.R. LaRose (shoulder). They join slotback Jason Tucker (knee), tailback Tyler Ebell (shoulder), guard Dan Comiskey (calf), linebacker Shannon Garrett (groin) and linebacker Antico Dalton (thigh) as starters on a crowded injured list.
Can the Eskimos field a team of 42 players Saturday in Regina?
"We'll take a show of hands," Maciocia said. "We're beat up, but we're still alive and kicking here."
With that, Maciocia ran down the chances of his wounded crew returning to the lineup.
"Dan Comiskey is doubtful," Maciocia said. "He hasn't done anything on it yet."
Comiskey hopes to practise Tuesday, but he's unsure how his torn calf will handle the workout.
"It's just really a matter of how much strength I have in the calf," Comiskey said. "It feels good. But I also need to know that if I take care of this well, I'm doing the best service for myself and my team."
Tucker and Ebell are definite scratches in Regina. Dalton is questionable. So are Alston and LaRose. Lefsrud is doubtful at best. So the Esks will have to cobble together some sort of lineup with which to take on the first-place Saskatchewan Roughriders at Mosaic Stadium.
"It's a tough environment to play in," Maciocia said.
"But we'll get 42 guys to go and compete. If we can't, maybe we'll get coach (Dan) Kepley and coach (Malvin) Hunter to un-retire."
VIRAL CONDITION?
Although it's not a recognized medical condition, a serious case of the dropsies hit the Eskimos receiving corps Saturday.
Lining up in Tucker's spot, T.J. Acree dropped at least three passes. Kamau Peterson made a couple bloopers and Trevor Gaylor smacked his hands together in frustration after failing to hold onto the ball.
"It's going to happen," Maciocia said. "We're not going to dramatize the whole thing. We're not going to get overly excited. It happened. Now we go out there, and we practise and fix it. I would be surprised if we saw that again."

like all of the plays bandit...this week just looks like an opening line set out and books will let the money decide the movement...i expect sask to move up to about 8.5/9 by gametime..(it already has moved to 7 on many books; and many offshores havent even released the lines yet) i absolutely love sask this week. Edmonton is pretty much set to take a beating...they barely have enough roster to keep up . I dont even think they will be focused on winning here though...they just wanna go into the bye and rest up and be ready for the labour day classic and more meaningful games...bc i just took the points just in case there is a meltdown like they had last week @ home to winnipeg...i cant see them losing 3 consecutive games...it is definitely possible but i dont think so...having simmons back is gonna open up this offense like crazy.
