snapped the ball with still an 8 point lead with just under 4 minutes remaining with 21 seconds on the RUNNING PLAY CLOCK. I was pointing it out that it was unbelievable they would not milk the clock with TWENTY-ONE seconds remaining. Wow, just very nasty how this was set up.

I was at a Super bowl party and everyone was talking about that. It was almost like they were in hurry up.

When you add up all the things the Falcons and refs did, you can't help but question the legitimacy of the game. People argue, how do you fix the Edelman catch? Well, you don't - both teams will make plays and if they don't, that's when it's way to obvious.
But, it doesn't take a rocket scientist to know that it only takes a couple of poor play calls or an untimely flag to alter the outcome of a game.

The worst part for me is I'm not certain there was corruption going on. But, deep down, I'm suspicious. Simply put, I don't trust the NFL because of the consistency of poor officiating and mind boggling coaching decisions. At some point, you have to pull your head out of your a$$ and question the integrity of the game

So many obvious non-calls I'll point a few very questionable ones late in the game when it was crunch time and script has to happen immediately.

3:45 remaining - Sanu was illegally face masked by Logan Ryan down towards the sidelines, obvious pulling on the face mask that twisted Sanu's head around. Sideline judge has CLEAR view and no call. Adding salt, Falcons were penalized for holding on a crucial penalty that was never replayed. Possible phantom call. Result put Falcons 3rd and 33.

New England's 2 point conversion to Amendola. Pre-snap, Brady tilts backwards knowing he was gonna quickly sling the ball on the trips left with Amendola in motion. Should've been called for FALSE START. Instead, Dwight Freeney was penalized "just in case" New England doesn't convert it. Also, if you noticed, NE's Left Tackle also speared at Freeney's leg, missed it, but that was a dirty dive. No call on NE.

So dropped passes are scripted in your opinion??

Alright.... I'm officially not reading the nfl forums until the start of next season, absolutely no value in it anymore.

The NFL is not fixed neither is the NBA. The NBA is full of overgrown and overpaid pieces of excrement that rather be getting to the clubs to sip their gin and box juice. That is why you see so much massive fluctuations in a game.

The NFL is more for the real man. I think the coaching is to blame when in fact the QB is miked up and gets some stupid behind on the sideline making the wrong calls.

You can blame the coach in NFL for not advising to run off 20 seconds on a 3rd and long. Not so much the NBA. The NBA looks so rigged yet it is really the limited brain capacity of some of those useless pieces of excrement.

whenever there is a lot of money involved there is and always be some kind of corruption. with that said, i think the falcon was just shook from the comeback. they knew the patriots was going to make a run after only down by 8. and atl tried to score instead of trying to play the clock. that sack on matt ryan was huge. i just think this was a good case of an inexperience team vs and experience team. atl played like they already won, and i am sure everybody thought atl would win and would never thought NE would come back. seemed like this game was all about momentum. the pats were playing decent. till blount fumble when they were about to score and that gave atl all the momentum and atl started blowing the pats out. then 2nd half atl played to loose. and prolly thought they already won. and the pats somehow got the momentum going.

Come on DKarma- you are smarter than that. Don't be like the Twitter fools who said the same thing! Clearly if you watched the game and understand football. Buck was heard saying (when the graphic was up) with a TD The Patriots win a TD. The graphic and the comment for all the novice football fans who do not know the overtime rules.

Falcons inexplicably burned their 2nd timeout in the 2nd half at the 1 minute mark with PLENTY of time, very strange they had time but still didn't bother to line up at all. They were very AWARE as some players looked up the big screen and just stood there. Matt Ryan calls a timeout as he's talking tot he officials when a second is remaining on the play clock. If you listen closely, you can hear feint "boos" from the crowd.

4th quarter, 2nd and 2, Falcons run a play with 09 seconds remaining on play clock and game clocks running. They displayed more URGENCY getting out of the huddle than they did with 15 seconds when they called their 2nd time out.

4th quarter, 3rd and 1, 8:31 remaining, Falcons run another running game clock and snap with FIFTEEN seconds remaining. Keep in mind, they are UP 16. So don't say they were feeling pressured or is shaken by anything. This play Ryan ended up allowing himself to get him as he threw the ball and fumbled. Patriots get the ball deep in Atlanta territory.

FUNNY FACT: Patriots took more time to snap the ball than the Falcons did despite losing by 16 points nearly halfway in the 4th quarter.

5:17 - Falcons after a huge gain by Freeman snaps the ball with 20 seconds remaining on play clock, with game clock RUNNING.

4:38 - Falcons make another big play, this time Julio Jones with an incredible catch tip toe on the sidelines just outside the Red Zone at the Patriots 22 yard line, 1st and 10. WAIT - official time out is called. They wanted to really challenge on Patriots behalf but knew it was a legit catch.

I a have a brother like that..he wins a game that's suspect...never cries fix...loses a game that was clearly a loss...cries fix. He lost about 5400 this year by not following me..

These guys are not going to bust behind for 3 hours to manipulate a game..with that being said it does happen., but not as often as some of these guys think..

These games are all fixed down to the tee from beginning to end.  The players and coaches have been in the football industries since pee wee league.  There is no way the Falcons players and staff don't know what they were doing, by hiking the ball with 21 secs on the clock to pass rather than rush.  3 straight rushes and milking the clock would have been a solid victory.  They went on hurry up to leave time for the pats to come back and win.  If worst case scenario, the refs are there as safety nets to throw a few flags here and there.

How could the Falcons coaching staff call 3 straight passes without milking the clock.  You would think, once anyone reaches the NFL level, you should have above football IQ.  FYI I bet pats and over, if anyone thought I was being sour.

anyone remmeber betting on jimmer federette games when he was at byu????

the line would open at -28 and by tip off it would be  -38 and the refs would give him 3-5 and 1s in a row? and they would leave jimmer in the game up 45 pts in the fourth quarter w 18-40 seconds left????

there is a reason he is not in the NBA
