guess it's never too early to grab a future, sit back and lookahead to next season..

Play #1: Baltimore Ravens to win SB52: 40/1  *0.52u*

- the number 52
- Ray Lewis: top candidate for HOF class of 2018 w/ Randy Moss
- the Super Bowl will be held in Purple People Eater Nation
- RIP David Modell. Art Modell passed away and Ravens went on to win SB47 in the same season

i see Purple Rain or Reign? at Super Bowl 52 in Minnesota.. hmm Ravens vs Vikings?? but in all seriousness, i have no idea who is going to be there next year.

the Ravens still have some serious question marks that need to be addressed, and a few things they need to improve on before they can be Super Bowl contenders but they look like they are trending in the right direction. Ravens are due for a return to the playoffs next season.

As far as we spot Tom Brady and Bill Belichick on the New England team, Patriots are always the most favorite team to win SB futures. They are at +450 in my offshore book, could the Minnesota Vikings (+2800) be the first team ever to play Super Bowl in their home stadium?

I really like the Falcons to comeback and actually win it next year.

Patriots are the team to beat no doubt. best team in the league and they run their organization to a tee. but i like Raven's history going against them and it would be nice to ruin their bid for back to back Super Bowls.

and i do like the value on the Vikings. they certainly have the defense to get them there. i wonder if there was a bit of a fallout when the defense ignored Mike Zimmer's playcalling in one of the late season games. maybe the media blew it out of proportion? i don't know. they do need to sign more playmaker on offense and maybe get a different QB.hmm Romo?

they definitely could. that defense was better than i expected them to be in the playoffs. they didn't really have a shutdown corner, but if they had Trufant it could have made a difference. Falcons have too much competition in the NFC. i'd rather wait for them to have a midseason slump to get them at better odds.

Agree, only Ravens and Rex Ryan's Jets ever won a playoff game or two at Gillette Stadium. Denver beat New England twice in the playoffs, but those two games were played at Mile High.

Defense is there, but Vikes need to upgrade their offense for sure to compete in their Division, i agree. i'm not a futures guy, so can't defend Vikings' chances in depth.

here's a few other teams i may consider that have a shot next year..

Giants at 22/1 , they were 25/1 several days ago. their expensive defense can only get better in year two?

Cardinals at 30/1 or 20/1. depending where you get it. Fitzgerald's final year and a team that still has talent on both sides of the ball as long as they have David Johnson. he's a beast.

Chargers at 60/1. this was actually a decent team until they got snakebitten with injuries. they could build on their defense with Bosa and get some of their top corners back from injury. offense is good to go. the relocation might be a good thing and a breath of fresh air for them.

longshots but i like the value on them. of course we have the usual contenders but the odds aren't that good with them: Packers, Steelers, Seahawks all at 12/1 and 10/1

and the odds are even worse with the Patriots, Cowboys and Falcons. can we really expect the Falcons to make it back to back trips? history hasn't been too kind to the Super Bowl loser.

I really believe Jerry will make the necessary moves to shore up the defense in 2017.

Dont know if theyll win it but believe they will be in it.

Cowboys 12-1

unfortunately with the vikes, you will need (insert minny qb) to win on the road in january, who will likely be the worst playoff qb. if you take a longshot, at least pick a qb that can run the table. I'd prefer chargers giants cards over vikes

Interesting, two teams with opposite weakness, Vikings need to address their offense, while Colts have the defense issues.

exactly. now i will stay away from those two teams. ESPN has put the curse on them already. thought about Minny but not anymore lol

Romo to Texans a reality? heard that he wanted to face the Cowboys next season and the Broncos give him that oportunity. Broncos seem interested and not interested in getting Romo but only if he is a free agent and not through trade. expensive contract

SB had Seattle at 15-1 so I took them... They need to get an offensive line but I think it's worth a shot with that Defense and Wilson at QB...
