this whole forum is on the Pats -3, every message board is on Pats -3, facebook groups are on Pats -3. I'm showing 69% of action is on Pats -3

Hopefully this tells you something. Experience won't matter here.

I'm seeing the same love for the Pats everywhere I look. I searched through 3 different forums, and it's all Pats. I've seen even more love for the over as well. Should hit at least Atlanta or Under if not both.

Pats are always a huge public betting favorite. Everybody always bets Pats, and now it's only Pats -3?   I think Atlanta is too hot for them.

Well, it's pretty obvious that the contrarian hasn't taken SLOPS
131 connection into account with his pick.

Guess if you already made the bet, your stuck with it.  Can't say anything more about the connection...sorry.

Pats have won 9 in a row. How is that not hot?

Atlanta has lost 2 in its last 9 including an embarrassing loss to the eagles. That eagles game is exactly how the pats will handle the birds

It has nothing to do with being a Boston fan. Ryan had a great season.....sure, but Brady is obviously the superior talent here....even at his age. Ryan is much more likely to lose this game for the Falcons than Brady doing so. Belichek is the best coach on the planet. Atlanta is going to score a bunch of points, but the Patriots will score more. Julio Jones will get his share of catches and make an impact, but it won't be like his last game. Brady will pick Atlanta apart in this one.....even without Gronk

Oh, and I didn't see you provide much insight on the game. You are basing your prediction on the fact that everyone is betting NewEngland, therefore you should bet on Atlanta.

Yes, I know it is so hard to see the Patriots winning by 3 or more isn't it? Sure Atlanta can win. Anything can happen in a game, but the Patriots are the more well rounded team with the better QB and coach. I would put my money on the Pats with the small number.

you're looking at this through Pats glasses and have lost all credibility. This will be the SB of the rise of Ryan and the regression of Brady. Betting against the public is only a fraction of my Atlanta pick, but have many more angles why Atl is the better team here.

Belechick must relish the chance to put together a game plan (in 2 weeks also) to try to shut down a team that scored over 500 points this season and over 30 points in every game since early November.  I do think Falcons could win, but I also think Ryan could make a critical mistake late that could decide it.  I do agree on the public bloodbath on the over, I think these teams will take it slower in the first half, may open it up in second half, but will be under the number.  Good luck....

Interesting way to cap a game.  Just because what you've read supposedly "everyone" is on a side, thus Tom Brady/BBB don't matter.  A 7-time superbowl combo.

GL on your play tho

Stats vs. Falcons CAREER
Tom Brady 4-0 9 TD 1 Int 115.7 QBR
Julian Edelman 2-0 0 TD

Stats vs. Patriots CAREER
Matt Ryan 0-2 2 TD 1 Int 88.5 QBR
Julio Jones 0-1 0 TD

Games THIS season where Ryan had an ~88.5 QBR
QBR=87.0 Loss to SDC 30-33
QBR=78.7 Loss to PHI 15-24
QBR=90 Loss to KAN 28-29

Is Ryan going to start playing remakably better against the Patriots D?

I lost all credibility......lol. Brady is showing no signs of decline, yet you think it is just going to start happening at kick off time. I like Matt Ryan. He is good, but he has been in the league 9 years already and you seem to think he is on the rise now and Brady is going to start to crumble. Take away Julio(The best receiver in the league probably) and see how much Ryan's production would drop. Let's just agree to disagree. If you are correct about the game I will be the first one to come into your thread and congratulate you. I am not saying I think this is a slam dunk, but I think the Pats have the edge. Good luck to you.

Is Ryan going to start playing remakably better against the Patriots D?

When was the last time they played? When did they last face each other in the superbowl or with Quinn as head coach?

Exactly. History is boring, the Patriots won in Denver this season, right? NC State just won at Duke last night? History is a comedy of historians who keep thinking the past matters when the present isn't even anything close to a replication of it!
