St. Louis Rams -6 -120 - BIG PLAY - 5 Units
Chicago showed up last week on MNF in SD winning barely in a come back after losing 2 straight division games to Detroit & Minny off the bye BUT now they are going on a b2b road game & ON A SHORT WEEK after MNF to St. Louis (tough place to play) & with Denver at home on deck (John Fox's old team) & then in GB on TNF after that one. THIS FEELS LIKE A HUGE SANDWICH GAME FOR THEM. They caught SD with a TON of injuries missing 3 OL, Keenan Allen, Teo, a DL, another LB, Lardarius Green & Branden Oliver & also Weddle was coming back from an injury Verrett was banged up, Gates was banged up & they lost Malcolm Floyd during the game. Even with all of that, the Chargers almost managed to get the win over the bears. Bears are coached well but are not a very talented bunch & the Rams play MUCH BETTER at home. where they have beaten Seattle & are 3-1 on the season with the 1 loss coming to Pitt 12-6 with Ben starting but not finishing. I think that was before Gurley too. Rams pass d is legitimate (especially compared to the non-existent SD pass D) & their run d is also better than SD's almost last place run D + they lost last game in Minny but Minny is looking like they will be a playoff team & they only lost by 3. Rams are a whole different animal than the Chargers for the Bears and they are in a much tougher situation on the road on a b2b road game off of a short week off a game that they had to come back in & already missing Forte & Royal. Rams also get a HUGE PIECE back in Robert Quinn who missed last game & Mcdonald as well. Gurley should be able to run through the Bears D.
-> St. Louis will host the Chicago Bears in the Edward Jones Dome this week, where the Rams' defense has been extremely tough on opposing offenses in 2015. The Rams have not allowed an offensive score in their last ten quarters played at home and will be a top fantasy option in Week 10 against Jay Cutler and the Bears. The St. Louis Rams have given up just two offensive touchdowns in four home games this season.
-> From before Minny game: The St. Louis Rams have not given up a touchdown since their Week 6 bye. The St. Louis defense has allowed just 12 points on four field goals over the last two weeks, and racked up seven sacks in that same span. The Rams D/ST has been solid fantasy contributor in 2015, anchored by 26 sacks, and will look to pressure Minnesota QB Teddy Bridgewater on Sunday.
Pernell Mcphee out as well hurts Chicago.

Philly Iggles -6 - 3 Units - MEDIUM PLAY
Philly - good pass, run, and te d - dolphins 3rd straight road game & after 2 key division embaressing losses. Phins season is over and Philly is off a BIG division win last week & still needs wins to compete in the division + the week before last was a bye for the Eagles & this is their first game home in a while so I expect the fans to be rowdy. Miami run d has been terrible of late after that 2 game emotional lift when Campbell became coach & the pass d has been even worse + Dolphins lost Cam Wake & the right side of the OL is very banged up. Tannehill 0 tds last cpl weeks. Matthews good matchup vs Mccain as well in the slot.
By the way, I wrote this write up before I even saw that Brent Grimes was out and thus upped my play to Medium from Small because at the end of the day I am a dolphins fan, but without Grimes I have no idea how we stop the Eagles on offense today in our 3rd straight road game so I have to go against my squad I guess.

Washington Redskins +1 - 3 Units - MEDIUM PLAY
Saints aren't as good as they seemed when they got the 3 wins in a row over an overrated Falcons team on a short travel week for TNF, then a win over the Colts when the Colts had a ton of turnovers and were down 21-0 in a blink and Saints held on, then against a TERRIBLE defense in a crazy shoot out against the Giants at home. Saints now are coming off 2 straight home games with the 1 W over Giants & the 1 tough OT loss last week to Tennessee though it does bother me a bit that after this one they have the bye week coming up.
This one is more about Washington than the Saints though. To me, Washington has exceeded my expectations most of this season especially in the beginning of the year when they were healthier and now they are finally getting almost all of their pieces back. Last week they didn't have a chance against a SB contender in the Pats even off their bye (which I feel actually may have hurt Wash a bit since they would have had momentum after the comeback over the Bucs) yet the Skins fought til the end and just missed a cover.
Washington is a better team at home & like I said they are getting a lot of key players back from injury with now all 3 starting corners in with Deangelo Hall, Culliver, & Breeland, as well as Jordan Reed healthy with a cpl games back under his belt, Desean Jackson back with a game under his belt, Trent Williams with some time to heal up from the bye week a few weeks ago & so on.
The Skins obviously did not look necessarily so great last week against the Pats, which obviously is a tough game for anyone, but this Saints team is completely different than the Patriots and also is not a quality road team.
Redskins were off the bye before the Pats game so now with a game under their belt and back at home that should help them here.
Washington is also in Carolina the week after this so knowing they are still in it possibly in their division but had to play in NE and then in Carolina after this one I'm thinking that they handle business against a relatively weak team in the Saints with a TERRIBLE defense on the road. Skins are the type of team that needs to run to be able to win and last week they weren't able to do that having to play catch up all game, but I am thinking they will be able to establish the run a bit against the Saints this week which should help them a ton.
The total is huge on this one accounting for both defenses being terrible which has definitely been true for this season, but if there is any defense that should be a bit better this week it is the Redskins with the pieces back.
I'll take the home underdog here with some RLM too.
