One of the feel good stories so far this year is the reawakening of the Atlanta Falcons team.
As recently as 2012, the Falcons were in the NFC championship game, the future looked bright with a young Matt Ryan and Julio Jones leading the offense.
2013 the Falcons finished a disappointing season 4-12
2014 the Falcons finished a disappointing season 6-10
Starting off the 2015 season 3-0, has the team as well as the city of Atlanta excited again about the possibilities.
There is one problem....
They are vastly over valued as a team right now.
The 3-0 record has numerous blemishes on it
The 3 wins have come at the expense of the NFC (least) east
In each contest they have had to come from behind
They caught an Eagles team coming into the season with alot of new players who have yet to jell on a the first Monday Night game of the year at home. They jumped out to an early lead and hung on for dear life.
Week two they had to come from behind against a weak team in the Giants on the road.
Week three had them trailing in Dallas against a team without stars Dez Bryant & Tony Romo. Dallas ran the ball all over Atlanta and if not for a superman like effort by stud Julio Jones would have lost this game.
Atlanta is 3-0 but could easily be 0-3 at this point.
They have trailed in all three games in the second half
Houston is a physical team that likes to run the ball and might get a boost with the return of offensive leader Arian Foster here.
This is going to be a contrast in styles, Houston's power versus Atlanta's finesse game
Look for Houston's strong defensive front to limit Atlanta's running game making the Falcons one dimensional. The Texans have the secondary to limit Julio Jones from having a day like last week against the Cowboys, which is what Matt Ryan and the Atlanta Falcons will need in order to get this number.
The Falcons are improved from last year when they went 6-10 but laying 6 to this Houston team is an over reaction to a misleading record thus far.
