I don't understand how any of you people are saying take Oakland due to the travel for KC etc etc. These are professional players, making millions of dollars. Just because they have a long trip or the time difference is off is going to give them a bad game? These is a reason why each team plays once a week to avoid all this. Some of you people are beyond nuts. KC ML -300 Sharpest play of the night if not the season. There is absolutely no way in hell Oakland wins this game. No shot !! Largest play of the year for me right here. People will ask why not take -7 or -7.5 Reason is -300 is a Safe play. With Nfl and all the back door spreads I have learned my lesson. -300 on this game is a complete steal. KC 38-20 final

That was a hard game they just had with Seattle no way they fly to the west coast days later and win easy against an 0-10 team on national TV playing like its the Super Bowl and win 38 -20
Are you kidding 38-20 it's not even the makeup of these two teams
If you have to bet this game take the points you can get over a TD with Oakland, but KC is not a good bet laying 7 or 7.5 don't fool yourself

. in a special groove (nine straight covers!) and Andy Reid 12-1 vs. line on the reg.-season road with the Chiefs. K.C. also now abreast with Denver in AFC West

Teams don't bring their A-game every week, that'd be impossible.
Teams pick and chose their spots based on beating the better teams for the division race and playoff seeding.
In vegas, this game is what's commonly referd to as a sandwich game, that's a easy opponent sandwiched between to very good opponents, a team like KC will choose to bring a much bigger game with far more focus and attention to detail to the 2 much better opp because they have to in order to beat them.
They simply can't match that same effort all 3 weeks, nor would they have the desire to because they don't need that to beat the lowly Raiders.
The reason I know this to be true is because of research, one can go back in any season and see this play-out over and over again through the years with some of the biggest upsets in a given year coming in this same spot.
Hey just trying to help you out.................................

Thats the dumbest thing ive ever heard...Yes teams have off days, but to say they don't bring their A game every week unless its week 15/16/17 when they have a lock in the playoffs is stupid....These guys play hard for 16 games every single week. KC is trying to make it this year and giving up a win to oakland is not what they want. This team needs a bye and wont get it losing garbage games like tonight.

Yeah, very few people give a garbage about the long plane ride here.
It's a classic NFL letdown game. The Raiders are paid pros as well, and know they're running out of chances for a win. They have KC on a short week, after a ROUGH physical game on the road, and on a short week. Charles is heading in on three days rest after getting gigantic load vs a hard hitting defense.
I honestly don't get your "Well, they don't want to lose and their paid pros" point. lol… By that logic, no good team would ever lose to another inferior team. BUT IT HAPPENS ALL OF THE TIME. It's the NFL… they're all All-Star teams. What separates the best team in the NFL and the worst team in the NFL is not all that much. Just look at the spanking STL laid on Denver last week.
Of course Oakland isn't the better team. But OVERWHELMINGLY, history says the Raiders WILL win a game. This looks like their best chance, and I have to believe that they realize that.

Sharpest play is to play on a heavy favorite money line? The probability of that hitting is in your favor, but that's not a sharp play considering how much you have to wager to win a 100. It's not the definition of sharp at all. BOL

Your 100% right, teams don't need to bring there A game when there playing a team who is 0-10 For instance Gonzaga last night in college hoops. Did they have to bring there A game? Spread was -23 they won by 50.. 60-10 after the first half BTW. KC tonight I'm all over them. First half -7 ML KC team total over Game going over which I think KC can even handle alone.

What's all this tell us? Stay away from this game. Division games are a headache to begin with, then you throw in a short week for the Chiefs on a long flight playing a team absolutely desperate for a win? Why would you even touch this game? The Chiefs are the better team and are 100x better coached, but why would you want to flirt with a team giving up a touchdown who only has 1 day of practice.
Don't forget, the Raiders have one of the best pass blocking offensive lines in the NFL. Their offense sucks horribly, but if the line can keep Hali and Houston away, they may be able to move the ball. The Raiders defense is average, it's their offense's inability to move the ball - especially the run game - that's kept them winless.

Not in the least. No one is arguing that they don't play hard but sometimes the other team focuses on this game. You don't think Oakland is looking at this game as one of the last chances this year to get a win?
KC is coming off of beating the defending SB champs. They have a huge home game next week against Denver for 1st place in the AFCW. Do you think KC players are completely focused on lowly Oakland and might not be looking ahead to Denver, even if they say they aren't. Add in the short week and this game is ripe for all the inexperienced KC backers to fill the board later tonight complaining about the game being fixed.
Hell, it is only last week this situation happened - Denver at Rams. Or how about the Chiefs demolishing the Rams a few weeks back during the Rams inter-conference game after playing 2 division opponents and then 2 more division opponents on deck.
Maybe Oakland doesn't win but taking KC minus the points is about the squarest play you can make.

He just compared a Gonzaga college hoops game against some god awful mid-major to an NFL football game.
"Duh… uh… this team was big-big favorites in college basketball and they covered. So that means this NFL football team will cover as favorites too."
Way to go bro. I can't believe it! All of these years of people betting sports! How did NOBODY EVER FIGURE IT OUT???!!! Just bet the favorite, because they're better! OH MY GOD! YOU'RE A GENIUS!

On a serious note. Raiders have nothing to lose. If they can find a way to move the ball and force some turnovers, they'll have a shot. It's the NFL, so you never know. They're not going to shut down Charles, so they'll have to create chances to stay in the game.
Obviously the Chiefs "should" win, and I think they will. That being said, not putting any $$$ on them to do so, SU or ATS.
