- Tannehill threw all over the Patriots putrid pass defense, but guess what? The Bill's in the past 4 games are 2nd in the NFL in pass defense ypa(5.66).
- The Dolphins are great at stopping the run? Hahahahaha. 25th in the NFL in ypc 4.30.
- Yes the Bills are a great home team. 5-1 ATS at home against many quality opponents. That and Miami is not that good on the road.
- Yes this is a bad spot for the Dolphins. Beating the Patriots is a big deal, regardless of a divisional game or not, the Dolphins gave it everything they had last week. Nobody should be surprise if they come out flat.
I like the Bills in an upset.
ummm. Let me help you out.
1. Miami HAD one of the wort offensive lines. in the last 4 games they have only allowed 10 sacks, and 2 of them were caused by the snow in Pittsburgh. Of those other 8 sacks, not all of them are on the O-line, there is such a thing as a coverage sack ya know. They are also averaging around 100 yards a game on the ground during that span. (Not bad O-line play, and thats the WORST part of their team.)
2. Pretty easy to be successful against the pass the last 4 games when you face Geno, Henne, Glennon in 3 of those 4 games..The other game Matt Ryan threw for over 300 yards.
3. Miami's Run defense in the strength of their team, numbers can be misleading. Miami's 2 best run stoppers (Paul Solai and Randy Starks both missed multiple games this year, and thats when the bulk of rush yards was allowed by Miami...Atlanta ran for 146, Ravens fan for 140 (on 40 carries). When Solai and Starks are in, (both previous pro-bowlers by the way, running the ball isn't effective against Miami.....Did I mention the Bills have allowed over 150 yards on the ground 5 games in a row? How come you didn't mention the Bills horrible run defense, but point out Miamis?
4.You say Miami isn't good on the road?...I didn't know being 4-3 on the road with wins over Pitt and Inday was bad..2 of 3 Miami's road losses are to the Saints and Pats, and let me tell you the Bills aren't the Saints or the Pats.
5. Miami has played nothing but close games all year. Last week was no different, no reason to think they come out flat other than you want them too.
In conclusion, Miami is the better team and playing better right now. No matter how many things you try to Spin in the Bills favor. Nothing is guaranteed, but backing the Bills this week is not logical. Should be Dolphins or no play, thats a fact..I'll be back sunday after the game, I'm sure you won't
