Houston, as a team is done for for the season but NFL players can not afford to quit. This is one of those games/situations where they have to play for next season jobs. If their losses against SF and STL looked like they were ready to quit, their following 3 losses (KC, IND, ARZ) were flat out heart breaking. They lost those three games by 5 points or less. Then came the losses to Oakland and Jacksonville, and those losses were embarrassing. I like to play NFL teams that were embarrassed the previous week, especially if they are underdogs and have a favorable situation. The situation is solid, as they are hosting a team that played a crazy game that ended in OT last week. Remember, the Texans were one of the preseason favorites to play in the Superbowl this year, and they still own the #1 defense in the NFL in yards allowed and in passing yards allowed. How crazy is that ? You have a 2-9 team on a 9 game losing streak, and that team still owns the best defense in the league. The patriots are 0-5 ATS as road chalk in last 5 games going back to last season. They spent tons of energy last week in that emotional OT win against P.Manning and Denver Broncos. New England defense, already bad against the run going into last week game, allowed 280 yards on the ground and spent over 38 minutes on the field. Houston might show up for this game, and then go into hibernation mode for the rest of the season.

Good points but teams that continue to lose like Houston, mostly at the end to good teams and lose to teams with losing records like jax and oak, we'll they are undisciplined and cannot beat a Brady team that is extremely disciplined! I see Houston losing at the end, maybe by a few or maybe by a lot! Point is Houston will lose!

He's not saying Houston will win outright. He's saying Houston will cover...

Here's the problem with your "Play teams that were embarrassed the week before" angle... Houston has been embarrassed the last 10 weeks. Last week was no worse than the embarrassment to the Raiders the week before when they had the lead at halftime...
Its a no play for me. And maybe they cover. ...And maybe they score only 6 points and get destroyed from a renewed Patriots team that now sees the #1 seed in their sites if things break right.
I don't think Belichick or Brady will allow the team play in a haze. Good luck to you, though.

Good luck but Case just cannot read blitzes right now. Everyone is ignoring this problem and it's a real issue. I'm seeing people saying the Texans are going to give the Pats a fight but unless they can get into the 20s, they are probably not going to cover. I've been wrong before but it's unlikely this is going to be a 17-10 type of game.
I have Case as my 2nd QB in a 2-QB league and have a shot at a bye if I win. He's by far my weakest link and in my eyes I'm rolling the dice because defenses are starting to figure him out.
