Washington Redskins @ Minnesota Vikings
People are starting to say the Redskins are beginning to click late in the year just like
last season. Let’s take a closer look. Last week against the Chargers, the
Redskins put up 500 total yards, controlled the ball for 40 minutes, while
forcing the Chargers to two turnovers. You would think with those kind of
numbers, they would have won by 10+ points. Well, they were 1 yard away in
regulation from losing the game. Two weeks ago they got torched by Peyton
Manning and the Broncos but I’ll see that as a mulligan as it was Peyton
Manning and the Broncos. The week prior however, they let a backup QB come in
midway through the game with no preparation and go 14/20 for 208 yards while
also giving up 140 yards on the ground. This Redskins defense is atrocious.
Adrian Peterson has to be licking his chops going into this one. Too much pressure and sky-high expectations for RG3 along with rushing back from a serious leg injury has taken a high toll on this young QB. On the other side, we have Christian Ponder playing for his job. I love the fact that
we have a Redskins team off a come-from-behind emotional win in Overtime
travelling with 3 days rest. How lucrative are teams in this situation?....
- Teams are 1-12 ATS if playing a Thursday night game off an overtime win.
