BIG BET IN VEGAS! NEED HELP! 3K BET!

Hi everyone, 

I asked these questions in the Las Vegas forum, but I will ask this in the NFL forum do to the bets being made.

I am heading to Vegas next month and want to place a big futures bet on the upcoming NFL season. I am placing 2 wagers on 2 different NFL teams for the number of wins they will have in the upcoming NFL season. Without saying which 2 teams I want to place my wagers on, I am not sure WHEN to place my bet. In total I will be placing 3 000 (hopefully at the same sportsbook, if all lines are the same with all sportsbooks) 

Question 1: Should I make my bet the first thing I get there? Or should I make my bet right before I leave Vegas? I want to know if i will receive any compliments (buffet tickets, show tickets, discount tickets . . .etc) Please let me know because it is my first time playing 3K on sports in Vegas and dont want to waste any opportunities with saving money on shows, buffets and discounted offers. 

Question 2: Do I ask for my compliments (assuming to question 1 is yes) before or after I make my wager?

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

3k isnt really much to them to even notice you. If you want some freebies do it as soon as you get there and maybe they'll think your a big timer and offer you a free room or something on your next visit. Also for question 2 it doesnt hurt to ask but wait a little while , maybe the day after you make your bet

Bet as soon as you get there. Otherwise, you may "accidentally" start betting it on other things.

Make sure you have your players card with you. Usually, they'll ask everywhere you play. If they don't ask, YOU ask. Ask for the moon, settle for some stars...........

thanks for the reply guys, now lets discuss my future bets

I really like

UNDER 5 JAGS (-115)

OVER 7 EAGLES (-115)

I am currently leaning towards risking $1725 on each team to win 1500. 

What do you guys think?

Never done these bet so if the Eagles win 7 its a push right?

I had Jacksonville's adjusted Pythagorean wins at 3.43 last year. Difficult to gauge with Gabbert and MJD being injured for the majority of the season. 

Honestly, I'm not a big fan of placing big wagers on teams with a new coaching staff. Philadelphia could be the surprise team that wins the NFC East or they could implode. I guess if you have faith in Chip Kelly's offense then go for it. 

Either way best of luck and have fun in Vegas.

In the Philip Rivers era, they've only had one season with less than 8 wins (2012-13). I wouldn't be overly confident with that bet for that much money. Better value to be found.

  I see Chip Kelly getting his behind handed to him.He tried to hire Loeffler for crying out loud.I dont like betting on teams with new coaching staffs until Ive seen them play a few games.I would use my bankroll on week 1..of course a small part of it.

We are talking about a college coach to the NFL?
It's not like he turned any programs around.
He's not a Legendary coach.
The NFC east is not an easy Div.
