Buffalo needs a long term solution at qb.  with the options that  are there this year you might as well plan on taking one next year and using a 4th for a landry jones, tyler wilson, tyler bray  to see if you get lucky.  they'll most likely end up with nassib though through the marrone/syracuse connection.  you don't have to take him 8th and can prob wait until their second but to make sure they get their guy they'll probably trade up for him.  I would rather try and make my best player (spiller) even better by getting a bookend for glenn.   glenn did fine on the left side so you can try to trade up from the 2nd  to get fluker... taking a cooper or warmack in the first and the trade up for flukker would be nice combination and it makes your best off player (spiller) even better.   buff signed manny lawson so that's the bookend to mario williams and they won't be taking an edge rusher.  They re-signed mckelvin so I don't think they go corner though if milliner from alabama drops you'd have to consider him.  a likely choice would be tavon austin in the first.  him and the trade up for nassib seem the most likely though i would go with the cooper/warmack in the first... trade up for fluker... and a bray/wilson/jones chioce late to see if i get lucky (with the realistic view of going after a qb next year)

Id prefer the bills to take an offensive lineman, maybe cooper from unc, then try and grab a qb in round 2. Nassib may still be there

Cuurent Buffalo Bills Pos Grades

QB   D+  call me crazy but I dont mind Kolb and jackson for one season ..

RB    A  Spiller is a Highlight machine

WR   C-   really need someone other than Stevie Johnson

OT    B-   Top 3 are pretty decent, Solid Run Blockers

G    D+    was not a Good odea to let Levitre go

C    B    if Wood could just stay healthy

DE     B     Mario Williams came on down the stretch,,word is Dareus will be lining up at DE in the 3-4

DT   B+    Kyle Williams is another guy who needs to stay healthy

OLB   D+   potential , and thats it .... is Bryan Scott really slated to start right now ???

MLB  D      Sheppard has to step up big this season ...

CB   C-     Gillmore and Williams need to take a step forward.... Mckelvin is burned toast

S    C-     Byrd is a pro bowl caliber guy ...Searcy must prove himself ...

DT

Players I would Like the Bills to take a Look at

QB's

Nassib    coaches have to like their own guy right ??? is he a reach at #8 ???   50/50 chance they take him IMNHO

Barkley    Maybe in the 2nd round ... really afraid of QB'd from Souther Cal coming to Buffalo

Tyler Wilson      3-4 round ???? or late 2nd in a trade down ????  Like his upside ...

Mike Glennon     same as Wilson maybe 3rd-4th ... is he strong enough ....Do like his arm on the deep ball

Tyler Bray      Vols were just a mess ... 5-6th round ???

I like your List because you have Qb down the list

some might say LB is the biggest need by far ...Maybe they roll the dice more in Free Agency towards the season ... Would not be shocked if they took one at #16

LB,WR , are the Most needed ....LB's need some cover skills for the new 3-4....   WR  looks very deep in the 2nd -5th round , could be many guys that produce almost right away ...

QB maybe at the 16th but more likely in the 2nd round IMNHO ...

I would not mind sticking with Kolb, and Jackson for one season unless they really like someone ///    Next years class is better ....

LOVE the Bills having 2 picks at

41 and 46....

nice Crop of exactly what they NEED

WR/TE this is the deepest quality class i have seen in years ..Sort of Hope they take 2 WR/TE's in the next 4 picks ...

LB Again MUST NEED for BILLS ...Starters and depth is needed with the new 3-4.... MInter and a Large cast of starters in the next 60 picks ..

OL Word is they really Like their Tackles on the roster .. (4) ....OG could be filled with Levitre gone

S depth or someone to fight with Searcy ...could see Scott moved back from LB..

DoubleUp... I just wish that the Bills traded down again and maybe even again.  I think they could have gotten EJ in the late first round and had another 2nd or two in the process.  Look what the Vikings gave up to move back into the first round.  At 16 there is still plenty of people willing to move up.  Of course for all we know they probably did and could not find a partner.  I talked to a couple FSU homers and they both loved EJ so only time will tell.  Always exciting when your team drafts a new QB, RB or WR.  Those skill players are like having new toys and you just want to open the box and play with them.  BOL!

Current Buffalo Bills Pos Grades ..( post draft)

QB C-   I Like the EJ Manuel pick, hope he is not thrown into the fire to early ... Thinking Kolb will open the season as a starter ..

RB A Spiller is a Highlight machine..Fred Jackson had some injury and fumble problems last season

WR C+   Will need 2nd round pick Robert Woods to make an impact from day 1. Goodwin might add a nice element as a long term project..2nd year man TJ Graham might finally have a QB who could throw the deep one

OT B- Top 3 are pretty decent, Solid Run Blockers

G D+ was not a Good idea to let Levitre go, Bills seem confident in what they have , thinking they sign a Vet FA at some point

C B if Wood could just stay healthy

DE B Mario Williams came on down the stretch,,word is Dareus will be lining up at DE in the 3-4

DT B+ Kyle Williams is another guy who needs to stay healthy

OLB C-  potential , and thats it .... Traded for Jerry Hughes and signed Manny lawson

MLB D   Happy they drafted Alonso , now who else are they gonna get ?

CB  C- Gillmore better be working hard this off season .... Mckelvin is burned toast

S C+ Byrd is a pro bowl caliber guy (better pay the MAN)   ...Searcy must prove himself ...
