I was doubtful at first, but he displayed some confidence that his girlfriend is in his past. He's no longer embarrassed about it, and ready to move on. Smart kid, he will do well.

it'll be interesting to see which nfl team drafts the first openly happy football player.  maybe the 49ers.

Imagine the local jersey sales alone.

whichever teams does it, i hope it ends better than this one.  although with teo's short history , it'll probably be worse.

He could have pulled the "that is old news" bit but he stood there and answered each question sincerely.
I know nothing about the young man but he looks to have good character.
I will root for him

I think all the girlfriend stuff was blown out of proportion. He made himself look like an idiot and now he is moving on. My question is: Is he good enough for an NFL first round pick? My opinion is no. I think he is a 3rd or 4th round talent. Guess we'll just have to wait and see how he does. If he didn't play at Notre Dame then we would have heard almost nothing about him.

now he runs a 4.81 40 at the combine. I don't see how he even goes in the first 3 rounds. He also measured at 6'1" 241 lbs after being listed as 6'2" 255 lbs. at Notre Dame.

Not only could he not tackle Eddie Lacey, he could not tackle slow azz Ray Graham in the Pitt game.  Everyone overlooks how poorly he played against Pitt.  If he couldn't play well against Pitt's JV o-line and a slow Ray Graham, he is doomed for failure in the NFL.  He would be a HUGE hit in SF though.  He would be sure to get his licks in there

looks like there's some backlash.  some teams don't want an openly happy guy on the team.  i hope some team takes a stand and drafts him.

If you're right it will bring in a new demographic to the NFL.

I don't think this will be a new demographic. I'm pretty sure there are already a lot of  fans, and they're not all in San Fran......
