Very true....there is also the matter of public opinion and social conviction which is probably a better indication of guilt or innocence, I think the court of public opinion is probably as accurate if not more accurate than legal system. I think 90% of people you would talk to believe OJ was guilty, I think that number is completely reversed and 90% believe Ray Lewis was there but no guilty of what happened.

#53 Posted: 1/20/2013 11:15:27 PM They gave Lewis's girlfriend amunity to testify against him and still couldn't convict him, they also had lewis testify against 2 men that were believed to have done it and couldn't convict them either.....NO ONE WITH LEWIS OR HIS PARTY WENT TO JAIL OR WAS CONVICTED after the entire situation. They had lewis's clothes turned in by his girlfriend and they did match what he was reported to have worn that night but could find no blood, no dna from individual killed or any signs of a fight, stabbing or confrontation what so ever.....THOSE ARE THE FACTS

#59 Posted: 1/20/2013 11:43:27 PM He'll certainly be considered for best ever...BUT, not an idol or role model. Early in his career, he was a 1st class jerk! The Murder that took place w/him present seems to have changed his life in a good way, he knows he got away "scott free"
But I'm going w/Manti Te'o, did u see him against Bama! Has best looking chic too... |

Wow, when you don't havea valid argument, you use large font. Are you 13 years old?
Lewis was there, he threw away his suit which had blood on it, he obstructed justice and he hid like a punk in the trunk. Sad that people worship him. Shows how pathetic your double up life is.
And FYI - LT is the greatest LB that ever lived.

Neither did Dan Marino, so clearly Trent Dilfer was the superior QB? Wow, your arguments are retarded. |

You're kidding, right? Anyone who has read the info realizes a number of facts..
Lewis threw away his white suit. Um, if he was not there, and was not close enough to get blood on it, he would not get rid of that suit. It was fly.
Lewis was found hiding in the trunk. Innocent people do not hide in the trunk.
Lewis admitted lying to the cops and was charged with obstruction of justice.
Lewis paid off the families of the victims.
He was not innocent. You should read up on what happened before you spout nonsense. |

#64 Posted: 1/20/2013 11:59:49 PM He is in the top 4 with Lambert, Singletary and Butkus. Who is the best between those 3 and Ray Lewis is debatable. |

The Bears were a lousy team pretty much for Butkus' entire career, so he wasn't about to win anything.
I like Lewis too, but he has been fortunate enough to be surrounded by some pretty talented guys. That 2000 team was ridiculous... Boulware and Sharper, Starks, McAllister, Woodson. Siragusa. Sam Adams. |

You must be reading different "FACTS" than the rest of the world cause only about 1/3 of that is accurate.......weird they put Ray Carruth away same year cause he KILLED somebody, Ray Lewis absolutely was guilty of obstruction and covered for something stupid a person he was with that night did. That is a long ways away from stabbing someone and being a murderer. The punishment fit the crime......he did his probation, was never suspended......paid a fine. |
