#26 Posted: 1/16/2013 11:17:22 AM How about pats winning with the same spread? Ravens covered, pats covered, haven't looked at percentages but I think it should be pretty even. |

#27 Posted: 1/17/2013 11:44:11 AM Loving NE this week and waiting for line to drop as well. Given recent history the line makes zero sense.
Ravens played their a$$ off last week and went 6 qtrs away from home in mile high weather. Emotion can only carry a team so far. Ravens are old and have to be exhausted. Billy B and Tommy Football are on a mission.
Would love to see Harbaugh vs Harbaugh but think the better game would be SF vs NE.

Bolts- although harbaugh bros would be a great story...id much rather see ne/sf rematch. Glad you too like ne this wk. Gl bud!
Denver- i see the line already at 8 at some places...tons of balti love and i can see why. That said, i'd be surprised if the nember dropped another pt...i can see it going to 7.5, which is not much different than 8. I grabed some 8 now and will make additional play before kick off and use that line for record purposes. GL |

I know Brady is 5-2 against the Ravens but they also give him fits every time.. Check his stats against them I believe he has more INT's than TD's.. I gotta take the points this week, Just like I did last year when the Pats opened at -8 after crushing the Broncos at home..
Good luck |

I feel a 3 interception game coming from him!
im from baltimore so i watch every ravens game, im not a ravens fan but i see exactly that every week. joe is considered a great deep ball thrower but honestly its just " heave it up and cross ur fingers" with this guy |

#35 Posted: 1/18/2013 10:59:38 AM I think new englands up tempo offense will affect the speed of baltimores defense by the second half and thats when new england will open up a big lead. bol

#36 Posted: 1/18/2013 11:10:06 AM The line last week vs Houston was inflated by 4 pts easily, I know the books got murdered last week with the Patriots cover. I for one was on Houston. I had a 13 win team getting 10 points? that was a no brainer..Books I talked to were getting 3x the action on Pats. I think the line is overhyped yet again...But I will wait and see.
As always Pal, GL |

#37 Posted: 1/18/2013 12:18:56 PM With the forecast in NE shaping up to be sustained winds of 25mph on sunday with gusts higher - this should affect Baltimore's ability to use the deep ball

#39 Posted: 1/19/2013 12:13:27 PM I do not see this line going to 7....currently at 7.5....if it gets to 7 I'll add.
Also going to take a shot w/SF....hit 8 of my last 10 plays on SF games including LARGE last week, but hate the fact that everyone is now on the bandwagon...at least this week.

Cal what's the replay the receiver did not secure the ball, bottom line. He got too excited. Any too flight wideout secures that ball with a vice grip and the game is over. It was a drop in my book. That little swipe wouldn't have done anything had the rec secured the ball. |

#47 Posted: 1/20/2013 2:33:18 AM It all comes down to game plan.....that denver game should've been easy sailing for denver.....Torrey smith getting that td right before halftime because of blown D(either champ being old and not the shutdown corner everyone hopes he still is or no safety help to prevent a score like a normal NFL D schemes for?!?!) and the worst mistake made by an NFL safety by doing the only thing you're not supposed to do at the end of a close game by not letting anyone get behind you with 30 secs left while you have the lead.
I'll give credit to NE and Bill because of his game plans, just like he always took antonio gates outta the game when he played SD and ask them to make other players that aren't used to making plays or beating them to do so. I don't think this is his first rodeo so I imagine he focuses on torrey with that deep hail mary dimension or ray rice(bill is gonna take away one of those elements) will have no room to work with, leaving a heavy burden on flacco. I'll take my chances with brady at home cause he's done it with players we've never heard about or care about. TT over NE for me $.
p.s. that raven's D as much as I've loved them, ain't the ravens D we all remember. |
