This will be a mauling an absolute mauling.  The falcons don't have a PASSRUSH, Abraham is injured. The Niners will run for over 200 yards in this game and dominate time of possession. When it's over you'll be kicking your self.

imagine without the pick 6 to start the game and a garbage touchdown at the end... how close was that packer game really? asante samuels will want no parts of having to tackle niner runningbacks and kaepernick.

The way everybody is sucking the niners off the line will be 28 by gametime.  I predict niners come out and lay an egg.  You heard it here first.  Falcons win by 14. You heard it here first.

Why does everyone love to make their bet based on the team's last game?  Also, didn't the Falcons just beat the team that destroyed the 9ers recently?

find me a team thats plays well in seattle besides the seahawks? everybody loses in seattle bro. wake up and smell the coffee atlanta is SOFT. niners dominate all teams with pass first offenses. all of our losses have one thing in common the opposing runningbacks got 100+ yrds. our d-line alone is an absolute mismatch against them. Aldon Smith gonna pluck some birds

Its not just about a teams last game..Atlanta almost blew the lead cause they dont know how to win...Their born natural loosers...Ryan and company will be wacking off all offseason cause they just had their pipe dream come thru...They won a playoff game!!!  Next year you will hear how these loosers will now take the next step ,they got the monkey off their back ect...These guys horrible...All the buildup to be a disgrace, this team doesnt deserve anything...The media disrespects them,Vegas disrespects them, we the people also have no respect for them...They are a Awful POS...

People talking themselves to Atlanta. Call me a homer.... Call me a homer who has been on the right side of every niners game this year..... Call me the homer on the right side this weekend.

Monkey off back? Nah-- if you think Atlanta is gonna be loosey goosey this weekend, you don't understand their mentality right now. They WILL be tighter than they were last week.

San Fran, on the other hand has been looking forward to this game for a full year. They're going to enjoy this.

Conventional wisdom says, Atlanta is the team that's gonna be loose.... That wisdom could not be more wrong.

I respect the garbage out of you. Excellent capper.

Atlanta will struggle to run period. They will become one dimensional. SF will move Ryan off his spots and that will cause him to really struggle. He is Peyton Manning light. He hates getting hit and when he does he gets gun shy. I don't see him standing in there and taking hit after hit. Will he be able to stand the hits and deliver the ball on target? Seattle is not a team that gets a lot of pressure on the QB. 49ers can and will. I think they will force two turnovers.

The Atlanta defense was able to slow Lynch down because they have a very good secondary. They had a pretty big advantage against Seattle's suspect receivers and were able to keep extra players in the box. That won't happen against the 49ers. San Fran's line is extremely physical and I believe they should run all over the Atlanta defense. They constantly win up front. That's going to open up the entire field for CK. I honestly just don't think this game will be close. A huge dose of Gore and some option reads with CK will make their life miserable. They have no real pass rusher if Abraham can't go. There were times where Wilson had all day and as good as their secondary is they cant cover forever. Niners should be able to pick them apart on the ground and through the air. If when a play breaks down it's nice to have a guy that can get you out of trouble with his legs.

No game is this cut and dry but I think this plays a big part in it. Even if these teams are completely even I will take the Niners. I question Atlanta's mental toughness. Mike Smith wears depends and he clams up in too many big spots. He always plays not to make a mistake or not to lose. He doesn't think outside the box and do something out of character to make a big play. Harbaugh on the other hand is extremely aggressive and won't hesitate to make adjustments. He is hard nosed and fearless and it's no coincidence his team plays like it. This is a tough match up for Atlanta and they can play the us against the world card this weekend. Too bad that won't matter to San Francisco because they have that mentality every week.

I think the Falcons are a good team, but they are a flawed team. Out of the four teams they have the worse running game, run defense, offensive line and head coach. You could not pick a worse match up for the Falcons.

49ers 37-23

All these blowout predictions.  SF might get the win but this is no blowout game, Atl will score and I see something a lot closer like 24-28 or 26-23 but I will be on Atl either way.

good discussion (for the most part)  still feel The Falcons have a large advantage at home and given the utter thrashing of their defense by the Patriots why shouldn't Atlanta be confident? Add to that a few mistakes by Kaepernick (its bound to happen) and I'll take Matt Ryan for 5  10  15 yards down the field himself  when he's not utilizing all the weapons available to him...so what if Abraham is hobbled....this D contained Lynch and will minimize Gore's damage   gonna be a good one    Falcons by 3

that hurts   especially as i have all the Patriots shot glasses  coffeee table books  t-shirts and baseball caps...  i can still see Babe Parelli and one of the Cappellettis..i remember the days of Jim Nance getting stacked up at the line of scrimmage for no gain...the banishment of Jim Plunkett. Daryll Stingley. Troy Brown... Pete Carrolls hey-day.....when the PATs bleed green on Super Sunday you will thank me but in the meantime i just may tease that ravens line myself...10 points may be too many for  (super)Pats this week

On paper seems to be 49er rout.  Better this and better that.  All true but I would not be putting my chips on a first year starter and second year player.  Alex Smith took this team to a thriller over NO and to within two fumbles for the SB.  If Kap does not win, there will be much questions for Harbaugh.  If SF does win, well they should win as they are installed as the favorites.  I just do not think they will.

Rovin ....have loved reading your threads this year....you make it fun.... and always consider your picks before making mine final. This week though I fear the dingo will eat your baby and the Niners most of your bank-roll. Falcons...at home ...against a road weary Seattle team minus their best rusher....did everything they could to piss that game away. Consider too that Seattle should have scored more in the first half .....divine intervention preserved the Falcon ist half shut-out. Don't see Falcons having an answer for Copernicus.....they certainly couldn't stop Wilson. What makes you so confident in the Dirty Birds? Don't see it ...is the three and the hook at home it?
