I guess Pete Carroll is now a good coach, and Wilson is spectacular and seasoned and won't make mistakes on the road, and traveling several miles means nothing, and rest and injuries mean nothing, and Atlanta home filed advantage means nothing.....Atlanta will have time to throw and pick apart that Seattle defense. Atlanta will contain lynch and make those awful receivers beat them. Atlanta -2.5 for 5 units and Atlanta on alternative spread for 2 units

I concur. Lynch busted his behind last week and was sucking oxygen at the end while Turbin took the 4th quarter carries. The Seadorks should have lost last week but lucked out to play another day. They're going to show up a tired team this weekend. Atlanta is easily the most underestimated team left in the playoffs. They'll win this game without a problem.

Yeah I did not post many plays this year. Overall, I had a bad year. I hit some big plays but lost many small plays. Second straight losing year in last 7 years. Didn't feel like I should post if I was not doing well. Really like this play. Ill post osu plays next year. I still am around 75% on large osu plays over last 7 years. Go to all

Seattle is the better team. whether they can win two straight playoff games on the road is a tough chore though. Atlanta is 23rd in rush defense against the easiest schedule in the league. Wilson is a good enough passer to get atlanta out of eight in the box alignments. The whole key will be if seattle on defense can find ways to pressure Ryan with Clemons out. They have the corners to shut down White and Jones but if ryan can extend plays or has all day to throw it will be trouble for seattle. To make a strong play on this game is a mistake!
There is better games this weekend to make money on.

this is not a true statement... whether or not they win this game, Atlanta is by far the most over-rated team in the playoffs... they are the worst team remaining on the NFC side, and 2nd worst overall (ahead of the Ravens)... this based purely on analysis of everything both teams have done for the entire season...
Falcons road a pathetically easy schedule to the #1 seed, but they are otherwise a very pedestrian football team... for them to be the #1 seed, but be the worst of 4 teams (and not by a small margin, either)... means they are, by definition, over-rated...

Your statement makes absolutely zero sense. The number 1 seed is just that, a seeding that is acquired by actual winning not by peoples personal analysis'. A rating is a person or persons opinion of how good or bad that team is and where they should be rated skill wise amongst the other teams an nothing more.
Everything you stated is just your opinion and perception of that team and the others still playing and nothing more. Your statement actually just furthers the point Gettys was making because 90% of the people I talk to lately, and my work puts me in contact and conversation with thousands, all are in love with Seattle and have the same opinion of Atlanta as you do. This would make Atlanta the most underestimated team in the playoffs as Getty suggested.
Below is a link to a current NFL power rating which is an ESTIMATION of how good the teams are. You will see Seattle placed far above Atlanta and future bettors have been pounding the nice price tag on Seattle for a while while now which has in turn made a poor price tag now. The Link below is just one power rating but most out there are very similar with not many at all giving Atlanta any respect or much of a chance. This makes them the most underestimated team in the playoffs as Getty correctly stated. A quich scan of this forum and the absolute love fest going on for Seattle also tells us this.
None of this nonsense will matter as the game will be decided on the field, a field on which this crappy Atlanta team was 7-0 before losing a completely meaningless final home game at the end of the season. Should be an interesting game.
The lion and the tiger may be more powerful, but the wolf doesn't perform in the circus.

you are absolutely, 100% incorrect! it is the exact opposite of how you are looking at it... come on, man! this is NOT complicated...
the Atlanta Falcons come into these playoffs as the #1 seed... THAT MEANS that the public perception is (by-and-large) that they are the best team in the NFC... when we talk about being over-rated, we are talking about the ratio of (a) public perception to (b) reality...
on the other hand, what i am referring to is completely objective... it has ZERO to do with personal opinion.. it has EVERYTHING to do with objectively evaluating the Atlanta Falcons based on their performance this year... there is ZERO personal opinion factored into that analysis...
THEREFORE... BY DEFINITION... since the first "rating" (that being the public opinion, based largely on the fact that they are the #1 seed)... is BIGGER than their actual objective performance (as based on actual outcomes, and NOTHING else)... that means... the Atlanta Falcons are (undeniably, mind you!)... OVER-RATED!

clearly you are not understanding the difference between "power ratings" and "public perception"... these are two very different things, that give very different measurements, and give very different manners of indicating whether or not a team is "over" or "under" rated...

Apocalypse. Been reading your stuff for a few years now. Respect your plays. I think you are on the wrong side here though. If Seattle can't get a pass rush, Atlanta will carve them apart. Good luck with your play. One of us will be happy

I am pretty sure the public perception is that Atlanta cannot even win a playoff game in the playoffs. Also that Seattle is the hottest team in the league. Put the two together and the public is all over Seattle getting points. I gots to agree with the other guys. I dont think your seeing it correctly.
