Not confirmed yet, but there is a Richmond and Washington station both reporting it. Out 14 months minimum if true. It's also possible that RG3's career might be effectively over. How many NFL teams are going to want a possibly injury prone qb with a recurring serious injury and only a slightly above average arm?

That's a real shame.

I tore my ACL and he has a previous ACL tear way more likely to re tear the way his knee went like that I think he tore it, ESPN just ran a story that the MRI is cloudy because of his previous tear. I think they are just trying to hold out hope I think he probably tore it

How can you say anyone's career is over after an ACL tear after the season AP just put together, that is just silly, he bounced back pretty good after his 1st won winning heisman and becoming 2nd overall pick

Zamboni, they need more tests because the previous ACL tear might be interfering with the current MRI. But let's face it, when you goto James Andrews office and you are an athlete, you're generally looking at worst case scenarios. When you hear his name, you only ask how bad is it?

PS-their tests today may have confirmed the PCL tear. I'm sure we'll hear more soon enough.

Cowboys, they're saying full tear of both ACL and PCL. You're not supposed to tear these multiple times.

AP I believe tore his ACL and MCL.  I don't know which is more severe the PCL or MCL, but obviously the ACL tear is 8-12 months recovery time.

He will probably miss the entire next season if that is the case.

You are not suppose to tear it once, but he will have the best trainers and physical therapy there is. His career won't be over he will miss next year though that is for sure, I guess Mike knew something drafting 2 qbs

Shanahan should be fired for keeping him in there. It's only the kid's first season fer chrissakes. He could be done in 5 years in this league.
