EXACTLY.  RODGERS IS THE ONLY SIDE OF THIS MATCHUP THAT FAVORS GREENBAY.  THIS GAME WILL BE WON IN THE TRENCHES BY THE NINERS.  RODGERS WILL BE ON HIS behind ALL GAME LONG.  THE NINER RUNNING GAME WILL DOMINATE AS WELL.  LINE SHOULD BE AROUND 6.

THIS ONE IS A GIFT KNOWING THE PUBLIC WATCHED GREENBAY BEAT A QUARTERBACKLESS VIKING TEAM WHILE RACKING UP AN AMAZING 24 POINTS. . .PLEASE.

Rams were in every game they played this year except the Pats and Jets game (I was at that game, grew up a Jets fan in NY before moving to STL, and the Rams played terrible giving the ball away).

Good luck though, I think you're more of a Packers fan than a gambler this game though. I never wish for anyone to lose money, or have a bad day. So good luck, hopefully you come out on top...just not on this game.

Bradford was 18-35 for 152 yds and the Rams leading rusher had 29 yds....I dont count that as being in the game

As for the GB/SF game, even in my own thread on the game I think its 50/50...

I think people are over-blowing the "lack" of run game GB has....they use their run game just enough, they use screens and wide out quick screens as runs as well...

In 2010, when GB won it all....they had 1 of the 4 games in which their leading rusher had over 75 yds

I think people are over-blowing the "bad" GB defense as it ranks in the top 10 of almost every stat....

I think people are over-blowing the "great" SF d as it played 11 of 16 games against BAD offenses...

This game is a toss up, plain and simple....

I like the fact SF won this 1st meeting

I like the fact SF is coming off a bye, because teams off byes the last few years dont have a good win %

I like the fact Sf is home and laying less than 3....

And, in the most important position, GB has the edge at QB

If this game was in GB, and they were only laying 3 I would bet SF to win

As for their amazing 24 points...

Those 4 scoring possessions came on the first 6 times they had the ball, once they got 24 the game was over and went in next week mode....

And, GB has more sacks on defense this year than SF

Going to be interesting how a 1st playoff start QB does against Capers

Umm...the Niners have better WR's? GB can cover well too. If the Niners can't run the ball they will struggle.

There were only two 100 yard rushers against GB this year (Gore and Peterson) so they are not as pathetic against the run as some would think).

GB's defense had more sacks this year and the Niners forced two turnovers more than GB.

Bottom line, this is a tight game and not a slam dunk call. I'm avoiding it.

PS: Enough with the caps already.

1. green bay has a very average defense. sf has a great defense
2. niners have the best rushing attack in the league. gb has no running game
3. home field. green bay is 4-4 on the road this year
4. gb has a bad oline (rodgers was sacked 51 times on the year). sf has a stout dline
5. as far as the qb edge i agree it goes to rodgers but numbers wise its closer than you think.

sf 27-21

Listen, it's going to be a hell of a game Saturday..I expect the Packers to win a close one.
Let's be clear about last season..the Packers were beaten last year by the Giants. You can say the Packers beat themselves all you want, but you don't get blown out like that by just beating yourself..The premise itself does not make sense..that is all..

call me whatever you want sf will win on saturday night. im not saying it will be a blowout will def be a close game just think home field and stout defense are the difference. And what i meant about the numbers being close i was referring to that link obv with kapernicks small sample size it only compares the 2 qbs stats from week 11 to wk 17

I will never call someone a homer

I will never bash someone for posting stats about their teams or other teams

That is what all these other people on this site enjoy doing to me

I guess it makes them feel better about their pathetic lives, being a coward acting tough with a keyboard with words they would never say to someones face

That is what this site is about.  Its a sports website filled with degenerates.

I think its great when sides go back and forth and try to prove other sides wrong

Its too bad, not everybody understand that

As for #5 and that article, that cant be taken seriously.  Its a 7 game span.  It is during the regular season.  Kaepernick has similar numbers to Brady and Manning during that time too.

I would take 5 of the 8 remaining QBS before Kaepernick, with only Flacco and Shaub behind him, and i would put them all together as 1 because I like the throwing off Flacco and Shaub better.

I think Kaepernick is dangerous, but I would be more worried if Smith was starting

Homefield means nothing here. GB has won on the road in the playoffs in much tougher (louder) environments. They won't be intimidated.

Niners win if their defense plays to their standards.

I'm leaning sf big on this one. Its pretty simple, defense wins championships and Gb has yet to show they can play any, esp against the run. SF is one of the top rushing teams in the league when Gb hasn't had a 100 yard rusher in 2 seasons! One thing Kaepernick has shown through out the season is he's a gamer. IMO SF and Seattle are the easiest games on the board this week.

No they don't, Gore is wearing down, only 3.6 ypc last 5 games compared to 5.6 first 7.  Niners went off for 150 on the ground vs. Giants, how'd that turn out?  This game will be won thru the air and GB has the edge there.

Yea green bay shut down adrian peterson for one reason and one reason only. Joe friggin Webb. Packers knew after first possession that they didnt have to worry about pass AT ALL. San fran is very balanced and WILL run rhe ball with success against packers. San fran has the recipe to beat high powered offenses just luke the giants. And that is get after the qb and take him off his rhythym an timing. No matter how good u are if u get hit early it changes everything. If u cant get to great qbs like brady rodgers manning u have no chance ad they will pick u apart. To me this game is a toss up but i lean niners cuz their at home. But if niners cant get to rodgers early an often then i immediately change my lean to packers. To me this will b the best game of weekend. Just look at the teams that beat patriots an niners. Both lost to niners. Giants give both of em fits. Both lost to seattle altho packers got screwed still have tough time. Its not a coincidence that thoes teams with give great qbs problems. They can get after qb and have physical secondary that can throw receivers off routes

All the niner's backer, trust that QB much? I don't, so I expect all the Niners talk end as the Packers advance to the NFC Championship! Banking on Packers LARGE!
