So yeah, very tough card, many games that are garbage between two teams so you have to wonder abt motivation for many. We dont know who has what clause in their contract for catches, sacks, TDs, tackles, etc. Or who wants to be off the team next year or who is audtioning for a role with a new team. We just dont know anything on Week 17. So be careful cause this is not the week to go big. And we have a handful of games that determin playoff positioning and who is in and who is out. Tough week, here we go:
I LOVE this pick...Over 45 Chicago/Detroit: Lions have ZERO secondary and that team is just flat out done. Yep, they have a good D Line but even the Bears weak O Line can handle it with ease. Other than Suh not a ton to worry about. But that secondary will and should get shredded today by Cutler who KNOWS he needs this big game. They will pound Det on the run and then hit them over the top. On the flip side, we ALL know Detroit doesnt care anymore and you can guarantee they wanna knock off the Bears and keep them out. What better way to do that than try to chuck it all day. Pls do, cause Stafford will throw 3 INTs while he throws for 350 yards and two TDs. Megatron will get his, but the turnovers will allow for short fields. This game has 34-24 written all over it. Strongest play of the day.
Other plays: Colts +7, Jets +4, Pitt -10 (like this a lot, they wont lay down like Cleve will), and maybe a few more small to come...

Adding Packers -3: Sure Minny needs it for the playoffs. Sure AP needs a huge game for 2000 or Dickerson, whatever. Fact is, GB is by far the better team and has PLENTY to play for. GB will get up 21-7 and never allow Minny to just pound away with AP. Rodgers will have a huge day on the road.

Wouldn't you think gb over would be easier? Both teams should have gone over last time thry played but minn threw two red zone intercepted .. Both teams fighting for playoff spots and I do like gb side, but like the over more...also when bears played lions sore was like 13-7

LOTG, ya know, what worries me a bit is IF Minn gets up early and can control the clock...and get AP running, that GB could see limited chances. Dont think it happens...but love the over in Detroit. Nobody can run the ball consistently for Det so they have to throw. And honestly, you have to wildcards in Cutler and Stafford who no doubt will throw a couple of bad picks each or take bad sacks or fumble. It Always happens with these guys. Field position will be critical for the over and im counting on some short fields and some very big plays.

So other than a couple of teases that are avg size, im adding:
Team Totals: Chicago 24 (see above), Pitt over 22: Cleveland will turn it over a lot today with a whole buncha scrubs out there and Pitt will play hard to finish the year on some kinda positive note. At least 1 defensive TD and no doubt Ben and the boys get 21 themselves. Last one is Under Ciny 23: they are locked in the 6 slot and while they will of course play hard, they dont need it. Dont expect the starters to go the whole way. Espec if they are down. Or up big. If it's tight, they may keep playing but even then, getting 3 Tds and a FG, doubtful

Goin to the folks house for some Sunday pasta...so just some looks at the late games, that I dont love at all. Espec if Bears, Pack and over Bears all come in along with some other small plays.
Maybe the Niners layin the big 16, small; a tease with GB, NE, Sea and SF; Really, thats it. Will play GB which I already have and just let it ride til tonite.
