#1 Posted: 12/24/2012 12:58:57 PM am in the last week of survival pool and need to pick 2 winners. teams i have left (that are somewhat decent matchups)to use are:
SAINTS - at home vs carolina WASHINGTON - at home vs dallas BILLS - at home vs jets TENNESSEE (OR JAX) MINNESOTA - at home vs gbay
the rest aren't pretty... Tampa - on road at atlanta cleveland - on road vs pitt
THOUGHTS/IDEAS? ADVICE??? leaning towards saints and washington.

#2 Posted: 12/24/2012 1:47:50 PM I am in the exact same situation. There's 8 of us left and we now have to pick 2 winners, the people that go 2-0 will chop the pot.
I have pretty much the same teams available to me as well. I'm leaning:
Saints, Bills, Titans, Redskins
I'm probably going to pick the Saints for sure... Not sure about the 2nd team... Titans and hope Jax lays down for the draft??

#6 Posted: 12/25/2012 2:42:08 PM Saints are faves playing with revenge at home. They are playing better. I would look hard at them.
Tampa has looked like crap lately but Atlanta has nothing to play for. Anyone with a nagging injury where they would normally play will sit out Sun. That is why Vegas doesn't have a line yet. A regular week Atl would probably be favored by 10.
All of your other possibilities are either games where both teams have nothing to play for or both teams have everything to play for. |

#7 Posted: 12/25/2012 3:41:10 PM Saints I like on the revenge angle. I think their performance last week shows they want to finish the season on a good note. I am leaning skins bc cowboys seem to always choke in a big spot. Wash is on a tear and their running attack should create opportunities for some passes against Dallas... |

#8 Posted: 12/25/2012 3:42:32 PM Tennessee is playing awful. That game against the lowly jets showed that. This sucks man. So close to the finish. Am stressed out. |

#9 Posted: 12/25/2012 4:09:17 PM Washington effort will depend on what happens in earlier games. They could be assured of a wild card before they play. |

#12 Posted: 12/26/2012 1:23:21 AM My advice to you would be to propose some sort of partial split if you already haven't. A situation where everyone takes home at least 5k and you play for the rest. That way nobody goes home empty handed. Secondly I would go with the saints. The bucs have just given up on the season and the saints are playing well.

Rules in beginning of season say that's only possible ten or less entries and must be unanimous. I would have opted to cash out weeks ago! |

#17 Posted: 12/26/2012 1:35:26 AM i follow the saints closely, living 35 miles from new orleans, and listening to local radio and interviews with saint players, they are disappointed season is over and they seem excited to play. saints would be my top play.....in buffalo sunday there will be 25 mph winds and snow...as of now, and how will greg mcelroy, a young man from south lake, tx who played at alabama perform in those conditions, should they hold up... not well, i dont think. both the saints and the bills look to avenge early season defeats.....i cant see the jets having much interest in ending a sad season in these brutal condiditons. my top 2 plays would be the saints and buffalo.

#21 Posted: 12/26/2012 10:21:15 AM Chicago game has upset written all over it. Lions will go all out to knock the Bears out of playoffs. They will take many chances. Bears should be ready for a war. |

jacksonville could mail it in......... maybe best strategy is to go for 2 highest spread totals so you get more $ on the ML on the hedge? i don't trust any teams who aren't playing for anything or seem unmotivated. that's why i'm scared to back the saints now...... |

#24 Posted: 12/26/2012 1:24:45 PM My only picks on your list are Titans and Bills; you wont see the split results......Either you go 0-2 or 2-0.....
1. Why Titans?.....Jacksonville try to get first draft away from KC. 2. Why Bills?......All people in universe are give up on JETS!
Good Luck!

Where'd you play in a $440k pool? Sportsbook.ag is the largest I've seen online and that is $100k.
