Total record: 36-16-1 (68%)
There aren't too many weeks left for us. I was going to call it quits after Week 16, since I have been been grinding it out for nearly the entire year; something I haven't really done before. However, mama didn't raise no QUITTER!
Lets cash some tickets and break the books as we head into playoffs. Here are my leans (not all lines are out in my local):
LEANS W/ UNITS
(1) Bills -3.5 vs. the Jets (1.5 unit)
- Bills haven't been playing well recently. However, I feel that they are the better team than the Jets. With all the turmoil in NY, how can you put $ on them (even if they are at home)...If Sanchez or Tebow IS NOT starting, I may just have to lock this play in early.
- Bills have the better run game and overall offense. They have the better run defense too.
- Maybe buy the hook?
(2) Raven +3.5 vs Cincy (2 units)
- Yes, the Ravens were in a slump until this past week. I had the Giants (frick you Eli!) and the Ravens looked great. Their offense was clicking and could move the ball at will. More so, they completely owned the Giants offense.
- Cincy had a "great" win vs the Steelers. However, without much of an offense, I feel they will run into the same wall versus a middle-of-the-league defense.
- Lastly, Ravens are at home.
(3) Bears -3 vs Lions (3 units)
- Much needed win for the Bears in Week 16. I feel there is some great value in the Bears since this line reflects their style of play: hard nose defense and a ball control offense. Cutler didn't have great stats against the Cards, but they did gain more first downs by pounding the rock.
- The Bears defense should lock down Megatron...
- Lions have basically given up and they seem to not even care.
(4) Saints -4.5 vs Panthers (3 units)
- Panthers have been playing a lot better. I honestly didn't expect them to rebound so well after SCAM Newton kept being a sore loser earlier in the season. Yes, the Panthers are at home, but the Saints had amazing win in OT vs the Cowboys.
- Saints have the third ranked offense in total yards and scoring. How can you go against a team who has fought so hard despite having a heck of a rough start?
(5) 3 team, 10 pt Teaser (favorites/1 unit)
Pats -1, Denver -6, Seahawks (no line out yet)
(6) 3 team, 10 pt Teaser (underdogs/1 unit):
Cowboys +15, Eagles +19.5, Jags +15.5
As the week progressives, I will continue to analyze my listed leans and other possible plays. I will also make it clear on which plays have been locked in for sure.
BOL brothers and lets cash it
