My book had it at Pack -3 even last night and woke up to find it at -2.5 -110.  Nothing new injury wise that I can see.  IF all the money has come in squarely on the Pack....this line move makes zero sense.  Maybe a heavy hitter came in and pounded the bears, but I'd like to remind all of you of something:

"Sharp" picks are NOT always right.  "Square" picks are not always wrong.  The true definition of the "Sharp" pick is the one that wins, and the "Square" is the one who loses....because he in fact makes a dumb bet.

As a lifelong packers fan, I have 500 on the Pack -3 at even money.  I'm not sweating it regardless of the line moves

The Green Bay side have more "big bets" coming in.

Whether that is the "sharp" or not is to be determined.

To me, it looks like a head fake. Linesmakers are putting on airs that there is money coming in on the bears based on information that is unknown to us the public. We second guess ourselves and next thing u know the bears have some money on them.

all these "public" road faves remind me of week 13.  home dogs ended up going 4-2 (ATS):

SF (-7)          76%    @ Stl       13-16 (W)

Car (-3)         75%    @ KC       21-27 (W)

NE (-8)         77%    @ Mia       23-16 (W)

Hou (-6)        84%    @ Ten      24-10 (L)

Cin (-1.5)      70%    @ SD       20-13 (L)

NYG (-2.5)   74%    @ Was     16-17 (W)

I know, what does week 13 have to do with this week.  Just a trend sorta thing.  I wonder what the trend is for the season, say +70% "public" road faves..

posted this somewhere else, but it's what's keeping me off the Bears so far..

They have not beat quality teams this year.  The three wins they have vs teams with winning records are:

Ind, 9-4 (week 1)

Dal, 7-6 (week 4)

Min, 7-6 (week 12)

All other wins are vs teams with losing records.  That first team was with a rookie on the road in his first game, and those other two teams are of questionable quality.

They simply have not had a big quality win, and they've had their chances, @ GB, vs Hou, @ SF, @ Sea.

Bears $$ is "there's a first time for everything" $$.. ie, they'll have to play better than they've played all season.. Not convinced it's worth the gamble.. Just sayin'..

I think people who cap seriously realize that the trends favor the Packers.

That's why this thread was made...because line moves have to do with how the money is pouring in. There are always a ton of factors to consider when placing a bet. And this is one of them.

This info is interesting and may or may not change my play. But to me, having more info is always better.

I think the Under is the best play in this game, and have teased the pack to +3. I may put alil on da Bears come gametime if that line jumps back up.

1)  He's not here to share any info and contribute to the forum.
2)  Those numbers are made up.

This is a sports forum.  If Im a homer, dont click my threads, dont read other threads that involve the Packers.  Get over it.

You are all lowlifes.  You think insulting me and bumping old threads means something.  I could care less.

Everybody losses bets.

If the Packers lose, the Packers lose.  Thats life.

If you truly think the Bears are a better team and will win this game so be it.

Amazing how pathetic your lives are that you could get so angry with someone on a sports forum.

Nice lives you live

More important things in life to worry about and get upset over, then someone "homer views" of the Packers

You sure TALK a good game. Who's the one upset enough to challege someone else to a fight OVER THE INTERNET?

Throwing insults? Whos' the one that said people on Bears simply don't know ANYTHING ABOUT FOOTBALL and now all of a sudden, so be it? Hell, the thread wasn't even to debate which team is better. You want to sound all reasonable now? How about stop being a hypocrite FIRST?

Ready went over this multiple times.  Yes, I lost my cool ONE time 11 months ago after a playoff loss.  So what???>  Havent come close to acting that way since.

As for insults....thats not a personal insult or attack.  This is a sports forum.  If I say someone betting on the opposite side doesnt know what they are talking about, I dont consider that an insult.

People on here attack my threads calling me a douche, ahole, pos, bla bla bla....

I kind of see a big difference.

If the Pack go out and get killed in this game, come back and tell me I dont know anything about football.  Thats fine, I can understand that.  To go out calling someone a douchebag, ahole bla bla bla all cause you dislike their comments is BEYOND OUT OF LINE

Maybe I cross the line and am sarcastic and "mock" your bets, but besides the ONE TIME I lost my cool 11 MONTHS ago, I never made personal insults.

Thats whats wrong with the world.  You people just throw out inslults thinking nothing of it.

Im an adult, I can handle it.  But, people wonder why the world is so messed up.  People dont even think of what they say to who they say it to.

You want to insult my comments, or insults my bets, have at it.  As a person, leave me alone.  This site has nothing to do with any of that.

I dont make comments on people ive never met.  Especially over comments I read them make.  What a joke.
