#51 Posted: 12/11/2012 2:37:33 PM i agree brees sucked in both games the Atlanta game was a gift also The Saints could have won both games if brees wasn't beyond bad .
both Atlanta and the Giants are on my fade list , but as i said going into cincy after a loss and getting blown out by that team should tell you something about the Giants , |

#52 Posted: 12/11/2012 2:53:05 PM You're right, it is hard to trust the Giants in the regular season, but in a big time game (wouldn't consider the Bengals game early in the regular season a big game), I will take the Giants any day over the overrated Falcons.

G-men always blow games like this mid season. Esp Superbowl winning G-men. Means less and less as we near the playoffs..
My first thought on this one was: if both teams play their best game, who is better?
Lean Giants..

I really hate betting on the Giants or against the Giants. At the end of the day- there's always a twist or a ridiculous surprise- usually being against all logic. However, they're clutch when need be. Late in the season as dogs, I'll take that. <gulp>

As a pats fan I don't want to see gmen in playoffs.
Not sure there is a "look ahead" in pros but Atl must remember getting fools kicked by giants in playoffs. I like Atl
What about the win against GB? That was definitely impressive
Giants are the defending Super Bowl Champ SLEEPERS.. Everyone's already written them off and think SF will cruise into the Super Bowl |

#62 Posted: 12/12/2012 3:43:35 AM I like Atlanta in this spot, but after last years playoff game where Atlanta couldn't score vs Giants I will stay away. They also do not play well in big games. There are so many good games this week, I think I will lay off. |

#63 Posted: 12/12/2012 4:16:17 AM Imo at home Atlanta has the better defense , giants have a soft defense this year primarily because that awful secondary. Giants and Atlanta should have a few more losses, but luckily they played some teams that choked away those wins. Atlanta wins by a field goal 23-20. Bol all!! |

#64 Posted: 12/12/2012 6:59:59 AM My take here is the Falcons...I am not going to put this game Matt Ryan. This would be a low scoring game where the falcons will run the ball due to the pass rush of the giants. And when they can get ahead of the count they will throw a play action of two to Julio and his buddy. The key here is Turner and Rodgers. If they are successful Giants get bored and tired because they can't get to the QB which is their strength. I see a similar game with the skins where they run the ball all day and got tons of first downs and 2 TD's on long drives. When playing the giants and to be successful u have to have a good running game. I think Atlanta have it because they did it against the Saints. They ran the ball with Turner and throw to the flat to rodgers.
17-14 Atlanta.

#65 Posted: 12/12/2012 9:01:28 AM already locked in the Giants +1 1/2 and also Giants ML
Giants have to win out. Turner didn't touch the ball hardly last game and Gonzalez only had two catches (I think) ??? looks like Atlanta is putting it on cruise control. Giants are tough down the stretch and a good road team.
BOL to everyone!! |

#68 Posted: 12/14/2012 12:42:04 AM This game is evenly matched. The biggest difference is that the Giants need it to stretch their lead to make the playoffs and the Falcons are pretty relaxed knowing they have already clinched. I'll take the fight in the dog any day. Especially when that dog could drop 40 points on them. |

#70 Posted: 12/14/2012 12:49:24 AM I think the game will be a battle until the 4rd period. Eli and the offense is gonna wear down that Falcon defense. Giant defense will put a lot of pressure on Ryan that will cause key turnovers. I don't think the Falcons can mount much of a rushing game which they desperately need. Figure the Giants win by 31-17

I don't think SF will cruise. I think GB has a good shot.
