To me this is an Atlanta -3 (buy1/2) or no play scenario. The Falcons may win some close games, but they key is they find a way to win. Carolina seems to be the complete opposite kind of team. They always find a way to lose. Carolina is also battling a good amount of injuries coming into this one. It is a division game and Carolina has shown they can play close games with Atlanta and some good teams. But I see Carolina falling short again this week. I almost pulled the trigger on Atlanta here because they are also on a couple days extra rest. A scenario in which I see Atlanta not covering is if they come out slow in this one, after a big division win last week, but again they will prolly find a way to win, or Carolina will find a way to lose. I took ATL -3.5 in my weekly pick em as well. I have Atlanta winning 27-20. |

I like the Steelers, but I just wasn't willing to lay the points. Buying it downto 7 for that price is the right thing to do. The Steelers usually grind wins and never seem to blow anyone out. It's funny that you just asked me this tho, because I'm thinking about adding them to my card for unit. I see a blow out developing here for some the the reasons you mentioned. 7 is still a decent amount of points tho, and that's what has me worried. I have Steelers in m h weekly pick em -7.5. Steelers win 27-17 |
