I place a lot of wagers on a weekly basis in all the various sports but every week I always have one game that gets a little more attention then all the others.....
This week the game is between the NY GIANTS/NO SAINTS....
Last week my biggest play was on ATL versus these same N.O. Saints. I felt there were a lot of angels in play and did my best to hammer it as hard as I could.
The previous week I had a small play that turned into a bigger one as i doubled down on the 2h. I was on Who Dat nation playing a few angels against the SF Neeners. San Fran was the Monday night go-away during a shortened Thanks giving weekend. They announced kapanigga was gonna start so I felt Bree's would have the advantage at home vs a young buck.
I felt NO played the better first half but the pik 6 was just unfortunate. I still believed N.O. Could win the game so averaging down at the half seemed logical.
In the 2h San Fran's d manhandled the o-line of the Saints and it was brutal to watch. Another pik 6 and some saints miscues had em down 10 with just under 5 to go. The full game wager was bleek at best but I still had a shot at the 2h push with a Saints td. The saints actually had a few chances at it as San Fran couldn't put em away.
The last drive is the reason I'm talking about a game that was 2 weeks ago. IMO Bree's was doing everything he could to carry the team. The 2 pik 6s were his fault but he was still fighting.
But then it happened.....
I saw something I know I wouldn't of seen under Payton.
The Saints get the ball deep in their zone with about 2 mins Togo. Brees started moving the ball downfield. Im not sure but I believe they got 3 or 4 first downs. They drove down to San Fran's 30 yd line with about 40 secs left.
I started praying down 10 they would go for the td instead of the fg and onside attempt. As stated the 2h would push and I would only lose 1 bet as opposed to 2.
There was a stoppage of time giving N.O. an opportunity to talk. So when they come out they pan in on Bree's walking up to the line. He has this frustrted look as he goes to take a knee.
I'm thinking wtf. why drive down the field and pri ck tease me like that only to take a knee now. Your quitting now?
At that moment I knew ATL was the play next week. There were a dozen more angels in that game so it easily became my biggest play of the week.
Now onto the New York Football Giants....
2 weeks ago I played the GMen against the Packers. Pack were on a 5 game win streak going against a giants team that had lost 2 In a row where there were talks of Eli's weak arm. My local had the GMen -3 +125. I felt like the book was begging me to take NY. So I did with another Hammer play. 2h gave pack bettors a huge average down. I was getting +3+125. The juice was a bonus as I took the GMen again and it worked out pretty well.
Then the Giants head into Wash. for Round 2. I felt like in the first match up Wash had control the entire game. However, Eli was able to pull a rabbit out of his a ss and hit Cruz with little time left to sneak one out. Now for game 2 we have Wash. getting points at home under the bright lights of MNF. My book is a Hugh NY Fan and when I see him on Monday he has on this brand new NY Giants hat and he has this big sh it eating grin like he's about to steal something. I then proceed to pound Wash fg and 2h. Again that one seemed to turn out pretty well.
Now this week we have those beaten and battered Saints coming into NY. Bree's coming off his worst game ever and ending his consecutive streak. Some may say he will be in bounce back mode. But I say not so fast my friend....
I believe Bree's was and is the driving force of this team. Their running game has improved over recent weeks but this is still a pass first team. Bree's is having another career year stats wise but that's because he is dropping back to throw nearly every down. This is because they are always in catch up mode. This week Their o-line is going to have a very long day facing this pissed off giants d. RG trizzle made them look desperate and confused with that spread option. That front 7 looked lost.
Now they get a team that comes in banged up and bruised. A team that isnt playing for anything more than pride at this point. The Saints will not surprise them with an offense scheme they haven't seen before. And a defense that likes to give up points.
The giants on the other hand are in a tight race and have everything to play for. It is that time of year that they seem to always kick it up a notch. I believe they will make this a statement game the same as they did against the pack.
However, I do think that NO can keep it close in the 1h. brees will have something to prove from his last performance. I see 2-3 scores. This is more of a hope that I can get a favorable scenario to pound it more for the 2h. As I see the giants beating em down in the 2h.
