Ok, just want to start by saying i dont want any criticism for buying points. Here are my picks....
Jets -5.5: buying a half a point (-130). This is pretty much my favorite bet of the week. I am a jets fans and cap their games well. They will win this game outright 100%. I think they cover after an embarassing loss on thanksgiving. Rex will want to embarass someone else. The offense will be fine today. This is one of those games I hate as a jets fan because sanchez will look good today and people think he has a chance of being a decent QB when really he sucks. But he gets it done today. Reason im buying a half is because I see them getting fg's more often than td's. However, i see zona doing very little vs a still proud D unit.
Steelers +10.5 Im buying 3 points (-170), : Ravens are so overrated. flacco sucks. I really think Batch comes out and plays well. I see this as a defensive low scoring game. 10.5 is a ton of points to be getting in this game. It means so much more to the steelers than the ravens. I am so comfortable getting that many points. These teams are pretty even to me with ONLY A SLIGHT QB advantage now that some of the defensive starters are back for pitt. If ben was playing ravens would of lost both.
SF 9ers moneyline (-360): I sort of like the spread also I just rather play it safe because I def think the 9ers win. I have def drank the kaepernick juice. I love his ability to run. He is like a quicker Big Ben with his size and ability to extend plays. I think sf d is looking so fresh right now. SF is def one of the premiere teams in the league and to me seems like the offense is getting what it lacked with smith that is making this a complete team. Bradford and rams are decent and its home and I can see why someone would be scared laying more than a TD. If anything buy it down to a TD or less.
Jax Jaguars +7.5 (buying a point and a half -160): I love the way this team is playing right now. Henne is a legit QB (at least right now). He is much, much better than at least 6 or 7starting qb's that will suit up sunday. He can throw. I think Rashad jennings are legit also. They just got Babin to boost pass rush. They have 3 legit recievers. I genuinely believe if manning was their QB then Blackmon and shorts would be household names. Henne is absolutely competent. This is also a fade the bills play. Team is not good. Spiller is all they got. Fitzpatrick lost whatever he had assuming he ever really had it. Think that many points is just too sweet.
Broncos ML -375 - I think TB is a very live dog, I just have Manning on my fantasy team and he rips it up week after week. I think anything more than a TD for TB is pretty good though. I dont think Vegas is selling themselves short vs Manning and they have given themselves enough points at the current line which is why im taking them to just win.
Bengals -1: No need for a write up. I think other posters covered this one extensively. Bengals are a better team. Chargers seriously find ways to lose week after week. Rivers getting bum rushed with his crappy line and throwing with his shotput style throwing motion. he looks garbage. bengals d is legit. Bengals better on both sides of the ball.
with all that being said, I am parlaying all these 6 picks. Did well on college yesterday and putting 450 to win +5767
