Hello all, I've been a member of these forums for a long time. I don't usually post picks but I have been doing pretty well lately in all sports and I have a really strong view on tonights game.
Let me start off by saying I am from Philadelphia. I listen to Philly sports radio every day on my way to and from work. I know no sports team in the NFL better than the Eagles.
That's why I know they aren't winning this game. I've bet on the Eagles the last 3 weeks as a homer play. This week I draw the line. The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting a different result.
IF Michael Vick was playing, Shadey McCoy was playing, Maclin was playing, and the offensive line wasn't out with injuries, I would bet the Eagles as a homer play if the game was +3. However that's not the case. The play is Carolina MoneyLine. 5 unit play (max play)
I bet more than that (which is against my personal philosophy) but I would never encourage others to bet above your normal bet no matter how strong you felt on any particular play.
The only reason I say moneyline instead of -3 is because Carolina has the tendency to play close games. I don't think this will be a close game however it's just to be conservative because of the size of my wager.
Nick Foles is not the future of this organization. This team will not win a game with him at the helm under any normal circumstances. (obviously turnovers or cam newton getting a broken arm can not be accurately accounted for)
I've been watching the local news coverage of the stadium. No one is tailgating (unheard of for the Eagles). No one is buying tickets on stubhub. Season ticket holders at work are giving them away to people who just want to see the Linc. It's a joke. Fans want the Eagles to lose for a better pick. I can go on and on but now I'm just rambling. Brent Celek is the only person on this team that has any Heart.

I'm right with you I hear everything your saying. I'm northwest of Philly in the Reading area, I listen to WIP everyday. You don't think the players hear what's said? Don't think they see what's written in the papers? You know as we'll as I do it hasn't been this bad around here for 15 years. This week has been the worst it has all season and people are no longer holding back and there speaking what's on there mind. If these players are not playing for big red anymore they will be playing for themselves they have to have some kinda pride left. Plus on top of that if they go behind early it's gonna get ugly at the Linc. I'm curious to see if 65,000 chant at once "We want Gruden" on national tv while he's sitting in the booth calling the game. I just think they get it done tonight. Brown is no Shady but he will be fine. I think Foles manages the game and gets the wideouts more involved. Good luck hope your not kickin yourself in the behind around midnight. Birds +3

It's midnight and I'm definately not kicking myself. I don't even regret laying the juice and taking the Moneyline because there were situations at the end where the eagles could have lost by 1 or 2 so I'm very happy with my wager. Hope you didn't make too big of a play on the birds there bro. See ya around
