Do you tools even follow football? A qb making his first ever start is all of a sudden better than the guy who led the team to OT in the NFC championship game and has been playing relatively mistake free football the last two years...

There's a reason the line came down 3.5 pts

I agree with you there, but I am not calling other people "tools" as everyone is free to express their own opinion.

Kaepernick has the higher potential than Alex Smith.  Harbaugh doesn't care who you plug in to his system, but Kaepernick will give him more options to use.

I guess Brady wasn't better than Bledsoe with that logic

Come on bro. Sometimes the backup is better than the incumbent. Nobody knows until the backup gets out there. If Kaepernick is serious about staying the starter, he has to shine tonight and he knows it.

Is this a joke? I hope you are kidding bro. My goodness I seriously hope you are kidding.

12 full seasons as a starting QB for Bledsoes compared to Brady who is in his 11th full season and Brady already has more than 70 td passes than Bledsoe and still hasn't completed his 11th full season. Brady has a career 97 QB rating compared to Bledsoes 77 QB rating. In terms of yard Brady will pass up Bledsoes career yards this year. And let's not talk about Super Bowls

of course i'm kidding... considering that brady is always putting up the #'s... it's hard to believe that bledsoe still has more yards...reason i know this was i won a bet a few weeks back w/ this nugget of info

he would have won a SB or more if he stayed healthy w/ NE

Kap can scramble better than Smith, watching him play during Navada days his strides are like 2.5 yards, so 2 strides he would cover 5yards. Just am little food for thoughts.

I agree he would be more effective than Smith. _

-3.5 points is generous take. Go SF

Agree with you here 100% but lets see the kid make a few plays and win a game or two before we start licking each others lollipops over this guy.

The difference here was Brady came in and proved he was better than Bledsoe after stepping into some big time spots and winning games. Kaepernick hasn't even started a game yet and people are annointing him the saviour of the QB position in San Fran...cmon bro.

I personally think he's going to have a very long night tonite against the Bears D.

That's exactly right.  Harbaugh can fit almost any QB into his model... Campbell can't fit anywhere.  If he doesn't lean on Forte all night, it may be a long night for him...

with all due respect, Alex Smith didn't take the team to NFC championship, it was the team.  I could probably name 20 QBs that would of took SF to NFC championship last year with that team.  ALEX SMITH is not that good.  Kaepernick is also not that good, comon man.

Alex Smith is a horrible quarterback, but that doesnt mean I would rather have Kaepernik in there either.
