I liked the Ravens and the points before Roethlisberger got hurt last night. Houston owed Baltimore an ass whooping earlier and the year and is clear Pittsburgh beat an over rated NY Giants team. As soon as Ben walked off grasping his shoulder last night, I knew he had a bad injury so I locked this in immediately.
Baltimore +4 (buy .5) 1800/1500
more than likely won't need the points, but will gladly take them.
Baltimore knows how to play in Pittsburgh, and win there.

I got money down on Baltimore +3.5 as well, my biggest bet of the year. Even if Big Ben plays he won't be near 100%. I like the Under in this one as well.

With Ben out and Leftwich starting, this line will be Baltimore -7 or more by game time - still leary about Baltimore on the road but without Ben, the Steelers have absolutely nothing and probably wont score 10 pts

Throw all the stats out the window. You guys didn't see last night's game coming? -1 at Cinci (Won 24-17), -4 Home against Wash (Won 27-12), +3- at Giants (W 24-20 Looking dam good too!), -12- at home on prime time MNF and played shitty, barely beat KC with 2nd string QB that haven't played for a while (L 16-13). Now playing with a powerful Balt. at home Sun Nite +2-. With a letdown like last night and second string QB, you would think plus at least 5-. Who in there right mind wouldn't jump on Baltimore? Everybody and there grandma are gonna jump on Balt! When they jump on Balt., Pitt is gonna look impressive against them and then favored very little at Cleve. Everybody gonna jump on Pitt then the wagon is gonna fall apart! That is how I see it! I don't know if it won't turn out like I think then you can call me whatever you like and I wouldn't give a rats' ass! But I'm just warning you guys and think about it! After they played in prime time tv, you won't forget how they played and you'll base your decisions on that! You can take that to the bank. I know that Igetmoney101 saw that coming and led everyone to drown last night! He has a system that saw last nights game coming and told everyone to pick Pitt! Luckily, I wasn't one of the crazy one to follow him! He made a point and a strong one too! Do not follow someone and complain when you loose! If you are dumb enough to follow me then you deserve to loose! Pick your own shit and not let anyone change your mind! If you are skeptical, then stay away from that game!

Well I'm thrilled to have gotten a huge bet down on Baltimore +3.5. I thought this would be a very close game with Big Ben, without him the Ravens have to be the favorite. Did you not see how awful Leftwich looked last night? That was against the Chiefs. The Raven D is not anything close to what it was last year, but niether is the Steelers. If Leftwich plays the Steelers will be one dimensional and the will be exploited.
When Big Ben is Healthy this game is always super close, with him hurt the Ravens have an edge. To get 3.5 points as well is a great spot. If the line goes up to Pitt +3 or more I could even bet a little their and try to middle. I'd do it for sure if I didn't like Baltimore so much in this spot.

Pitt can win at home with defense and running game alone. Flacco on the road has no edge over Leftwich...both qb are definitely not elite so that is a washed. Pitt are on a roll and this is when this team comes alive. Take the +pts..Vegas know ppl will bite. They coulda destroyed kc. Don't fool yourself..that game vs kc was a sandwhich game for Pitt. Ravens have too many issues on defense to win on the road vs a team like Pitt. GL tho...

Leftwich hasn't played a full game in almost 3 years. Flacco isn't elite, but he's won a lot of games, and beat the steelers (with Big Ben) twice last year. Just the fact he's played all year and is in sync with has offense gives him a huge edge over Leftwich. Saying he has no advantage over Leftwich is ridiculous.

LIke I said, I liked the Ravens vs. Big Ben. Yes, the defense has been slow, but having Suggs back (even at 70% or so is huge for them. Ray Lewis out honestly doesn't hurt them scheme wise, just his leadership presence. Webb out, hurts, but they have Cary Williams and Jimmy Smith who are both talented, and continuing to improve week in and week out. ZYes Baltimroe has been shaky ont he road, and have been for the last 3 years but we all know they play well vs their divisional opponents regardless of the venue, and have ALWAYS had close games in Pitt. This Pitt team was over rated with Ben. They got lucky as shit at home vs. Philly and obviously NY Giants are not who we thought they were.
I will be looking forward to cashing in this bet, with Ben being out it only helps. Also...I think the Ravens offense shines here, Flacco and team know how to score against Pittsburgh.

clark out is pretty significant, but the Steelers can still keep this close if not win. Remember when Dixon had to start? They almost pulled that one out against a better Ravens D...

Leftwich has a week to prepare, he can probably do something to keep the game close. I'm sure the Steelers will limit his throwing to 3rd downs and avoid going deep.
His long release might get him in trouble with the Baltimore D-Line.

yes, and Baltimore took him way too lightly....I think Dennis Dixon is better than Leftwich anyway. Baltimore will stuff the run, but the kicker here is...I think the Ravens offense picks the Steelers D apart.
