No action on the game.....

 

How can KC get the flag for 15 yd celebration if the play is reversed???

It never would have happened if the call was correct???

So dumb.....

regardless if the play was reversed.. it doesnt take away the fact that there was a penalty

they technically celebrated after picking up the ball after an incomplete pass, i guess.

I think because it was a dead ball penalty, but I agree w/you, rule should change

what does the play getting reversed have anything to do with whether they committed a penalty by over celebrating.  if anything, they should tack on an extra 5 yards for celebrating a pretty clear forward pass.  20 yards for too much celebration + stupid celebration.

you cant assume that a penalty wouldn't have happened... it was a dead ball penalty... if for example there was a clipping penalty which would have occured "during" the play, it wouldnt have been enforced... but it was a dead ball penalty... you could technically say they made a group celebration for forcing an incomplete pass
