While I agree that the Chiefs are not a good team, I believe it to be more so on poor coaching than a lack of talent with the Chiefs. Their defense is actually quite good and has been wrongly criticized for giving up to many points this season. The first matchup between these two teams is a great example as the KC offense turned it over 6 times! Now for us that understand football it is extremely difficult for a defense to keep performing at a high level when your offense can't sustain a drive to help keep the other teams offense off the field. This has plagued the Chiefs all year, and yes it something that should be overlooked. However, we also know it is extremely difficult to beat the same team twice, SD failed to do so last year vs KC, because teams learn from the prior game.
This game will go down one of two ways and it all depends on the start, but that start will still be dictated by the Chiefs IMO. If they are smart and establish their run game from the get go, then they can manage the way this game is played. Long drives that eat clock, keep the chargers off the field, and also put pressure on Rivers to try and force plays is their recipe for success and I see it happening. Charles ran well last game against them and the KC defense will have to gameplan to stop Gates this time. If they do, I not only see them covering but winning outright

And I'm staying away from the total, it's too hard to cap, but my gut tells me the under while mind tells me the over will hit on a game winning score. I see it being a close game at 20-17, but that's a Rivers TD drive or fg for OT away from losing

Before the season starts I choose teams that I do like and do not like. I believe that KC is the better team here and I still see them finishing 2nd in the division.
My style of gambling is too make a few bets on games I really like rather than bet on every game, also when I am up a bit I like to take the occasional chance at hitting a big one if I like the value. I believe KC covers, perhaps wins, so at the worst I believe I will break even tonight with a chance to hit it big. If I lose both then I am still up comfortably in my eyes. If you disagree davop then so be it

Thanks davop
And being less sarcastic now, thanks AS.
