#177 Posted: 11/3/2012 12:31:43 PM The roads teams are on fire:
Week 8: 10-4 ATS (road teams by 6 games)
Week 7: 10-2-1 ATS (road teams by 8 games)
Week 6: 8-6 ATS (road teams by 2 games)
Week 5: 5-9 ATS (home teams by 4 games)
Week 4: 11-3-1 ATS (road teams by 8 games)
Week 3: 10-6 ATS (road teams by 4 games)
Week 2: 4-11-1 ATS (home teams by 7 games)
Week 1: 8-8 ATS (evenly)
The road teams have out numbered the home teams when it came to covering the spread this season 5 week to 2 weeks & week 1 had it even..............will it regress back to the mean?? Possibly but imo, I dont think so...............
I like a lot of road teams this week............... does the streak continue..................... |

I don't have those numbers. I've got ATS 1-3 and SUP 2-2 but with the ATS numbers it all comes down to the closing number. You are ridiculous looking for trends on a sample size of 4 games if any of you knew something about statistics you should know you need a much bigger sample size than 4!! And the majority of 'trends' people post are based on 'after the event ' ... Try identifying one of these trends early and following it and having a solid record.. Noone posts about a trend that is 4-0 ATS and goes 10-0 ..people find trends that by chance have a great record and then think it will continue.. Do u think the Giants care that they played the cowgirls last week and now it means they 'can't' win by 4+ this week .. If Pitt cover this week it won't be because of that |

You can't have it both ways! First you criticize me for posting STATS that have a small sample size. Then you criticize me for not taking an approach that identifies trends early. If I posted a trend that pointed to a NYG letdown after a Cowboy match say at an imaginary ATS of 31-10, you'd say that the numbers are stale and I should have been on this trend when it was say ... ATS 4-0. I'm not saying you don't make some interesting points but I can't win any kind of argument with the logic you are using. Also, I am big proponent of situational handicapping so I 'do' believe teams have let-down spots on their schedule. If PIT does lose it will probably be because their secondary is a major issue without TP on the field. Oh, here's another trend for you.
STEELERS with TP in secondary SUP 28-9 STEELERS without TP in secondary SUP 9-9
Maybe I should hedge my bet and take the Steelers and the OVER so if PIT secondary gets shredded I'll catch the over.

The Steelers record without Palamalu and the Steelers record on the road have been on ESPN a few times this week, in other words they are widely recognized as being garbage.
Yet.... books are juicing -3 for the Giants

Good point. I've got the STEELERS +3 despite the fact they are 3-11 ATS on the road. Good Luck on the weekend |

Updated wagers:
Ravens -3 (-120) $1,200 to win $1,000
Browns +3.5 (-110) $1,100 to win $1,000 (bought out of Ravens play)
Panthers +3.5 (-110) $1,100 to win $1,000
Broncos -3 (-120) $1,200 to win $1,000
Bengals +3.5 (-110) $1,100 to win $1,000 (bought out of my Broncos wager)
Cowboys +4.5 (-110) $2,200 to win $2,000 (will also play the ML)
Eagles +3.5 (-110) $2,200 to win $2,000 (will also play the ML)
Colts +2.5 (-110) $1,100 to win $1,000 (will also play the ML)
Steelers +3.5 (-110) $3,300 to win $3,000 (will also play the ML)
Jaguars +3.5 (-110) $2,200 to win $2,000
Titans +3 (+110) $1,000 to win $1,100
Tampa ML (+100) $1,000 to win $1,000
Correct me if I am wrong. If you are down an imaginary $30,000 for the season and you add an imaginary $30,000, then you win an imaginary $1800, shouldn't you be up an imaginary $1800? I imagine covers will box me again for calling this guy a , but I fail to see how they haven't boxed this joker yet.

#197 Posted: 11/4/2012 9:13:43 AM Too many wagers yet once again. PTB obviously lives in his grandma's basement with imaginary dollars. Probably doesn't get out much and got no friends in real life. So this covers thread is what his joy in life really is.
Lets not take away his only joy in life and let him continue to be the biggest and the joke in here. |

Well they will never box PTB because of the amount of views he has. Yes everyone who lives in the real world knows he is a fraud but people come on to this threads to either hate on him or love him. I'd miss him if he left. I love see him losing his imaginary money. I mean whjo would ever tail a guy that has so far lost 30k and after the weekend looks a lot more..
Just enjoy the stupidity of the guy. I do..
