I made a small wager on the game.  Going to start posting my online tickets when I make my picks so that people don't think I am lying or just making up my picks.  If I don't post the online ticket I will say that I bet with the local...

Love New England here.  Offense clicking on all cylinders as usual plus they have a stable of running backs which they haven't had in a while.  BOL all.

There are websites where you can track the $ going into games.  So yes, there are more $ for NE.....more than 70%.  For all you NE backers, wake up.  SEA almost beat AZ on the road in the opener if their WR didn't drop that ball in the end zone on the last play of the game.  Yet, AZ went into NE and beat NE. AZ already lay the blue print to beat NE.  The game plan against good offense is to keep them off the field.  So run the ball, run the ball again (BEAST mode will energize with home crowd) then complete short pass for 1st downs.  Keep Brady off the field.  If this don't work, then SEA already have the #1 defense to back them up.  Also, don't forget, SEA has 1 of the best special team in the league.  Reason why line is only 3.5 for NE is that Vegas knows public have short term memory.  They only remember last game well.  And NE beat DEN on prime time at home.  Whereas, SEA have to hold on on the road to win.  So look like EZ win for NE.

The QB differential is huge.  Seattle has a small RB and defence advantage, but not enough to overcome their complete lack of a passing game.  The Patriots should win this game more than 2/3 of the time.

Seattle runs the ball 56% of the time even though they only get 4 yards/rush, they are totally one dimensional with a bad QB. Their defense is amazing and a joy to watch, no doubt, but Brady gets his against everyone.

The Pats are soft through the air, though I think they can handle the star Wisconsin QB, and they're only giving up 3.4 yards/rush (1 standard deviation better than league average).

Hate road favorites, I especially hate taking public darling New England (and am still upset at them for losing the Superbowl), but I'm going Brady this week baby.

First of all, Seattle has already lost at home to Green Bay.  Second of all, Russell Wilson ain't that great.  Don't believe the hype on him.

To the people wanting to bet against Brady when he is at the top of his game- I ask why?  Is 3.5 points really enough for you to bet against 1 of the top 3 QB's in the game right now?  If you're looking for a game to cap there are surely better ones out there.

NE or no-play for me.

Can New England protect Brady?

Tenn, Balt, Buff all in bottom half in league in Sacks.

Zona ranked #4 Seattle #5

I would never put my eggs in one basket but Brady clearly is not Brady under pressure.  I think we see the same here.

All you can do is beat the teams you play.

This game should be a no-play. Seattles offense is weak

The fact that 2 guys with a combined 13 posts LOVE the Pats is definitely enough reason to not touch the Pats in this game

It all depends on how well the Seattle defense can match up against the receivers on New England.  If they match up with their defensive backs, Patriots will just run it down their throats.

the title of this thread said 70% of covers, not some other website. It does not represent the amount of wagers placed on either team is what I'm getting at

Great name, love Cameron Wake, but for starters--didn't you have to pass the 13 post hurdle at some point? Didn't we all? Does it matter how many times someone has posted?

Second, are you going to let two people you don't know influence YOUR betting Sunday? Simply because they recently discovered this website? That's asinine.

1 - It was half kidding, half stereotype

2 - The guy has since been banned, so I was right on my 4th username guess.

3 - I was half kidding, but fading covers members, ESPECIALLY new guys on their 3rd name can be profittable.

All sports are biased to east coast.  NE will obviously get more love and a higher line than a "weak" seattle team.  I mean, NE has Tom Brady.  Apparently no one watches Seattle at home.  Did everyone already forget about Monday night GB@SEA ? GB scored 12 friggin points. I beleive Aaron Rodgers is better than Tom Brady, but that's debatable.  Ever since Seattle whooped on New Orleans to knock them out of the playoffs they have been a defensive juggernaut.  NFC west is pure defense up and down but no one notices because of east coast bias in sports.  Seattle is one of the hardest places to play.  Tom brady has scored a ton this year.. against Tennessee, Buffalo, Baltimore, and Denver.  What happened when they played Arizona who is probably not as good as Seattle? They couldn't move the ball.  Sure they should have won the game, but Tom Brady will struggle this week.  Everyone predicting 28-10 blowouts for this game is ridiculous.  Seattle has given up more than 27 pts in only 3 of their last 21 games.  You're not going to see Tom Brady throwing 45 garbage points in the 2nd half of this game.  Seattle at home against a weak NE defense, I'll take the ML
