Last but most important not 1 person has mentioned the fact that this is the 1st of 3 consecutive road games (cinncy wk 7, nyg wk 8) Tomlin will make sure he has his team prepared to get this W as this is the start of a huge road trip.
Steelers cover easy!!

#53 Posted: 10/11/2012 5:59:24 AM I think the line is spot on. Pitts hasn't put up big numbers. But tonight they put up 28+. |

a "W" is not a cover, but maybe they will, who knows till midnight tonight for sure, I just don't think they cover and may not win...Look, I wish everyone luck on their decision tonight,But the fact is the Steelers have gave up 30+ in 2 games this year and played a weaker schedule...There is 1 team in the NFL that has yet to produce a play of 40 yards or more this season. It’s the Steelers. Their longest gain was a 37-yard touchdown pass from Roethisberger to wide receiver Mike Wallace in Week 2 against the Jets. Their longest run was 17 yards, by Rashard Mendenhall, who returned Sunday. I look at it this way,Do I think the Steelers are a playoff team this year? answer:no I don't...They have a new offensive coordinator in Todd Haley who is somewhat of a odd ball... It really boils down to who is going to be "Up" for this game. I think the Steelers will be flat. What do they care about beating up on the Titans? Someone on that Titans team has some big time personal revenge for the Steelers...know who that is? |

#59 Posted: 10/11/2012 10:00:58 AM Steelers -3 for 1st half, is almost a free win in my mind. Also, realize prime-time games (SNF, MNF, TNF) usually start off very slow and I have continued to bet and win with the 1st half under on TNF regularly.
Steelers -6 Steelers -3 1st half Under 21.5 1st half
BOL everyone... |

#61 Posted: 10/11/2012 3:59:57 PM Good Luck Tonight Guys!
For those asking, if I hadn't taken the play already I would have still taken this up to -7. Then buying it down to -6.5. This game should end 28-20, so it really isn't necessary statistically speaking, but you never know. |

#65 Posted: 10/11/2012 6:11:30 PM The spread is a bit wrong I think it should be -4.5 but what the heck do I know.
Titans +6...lol maybe bentley man is due for a loss. I don't really monitor anyone's picks though. Just saw this thread and was interested because I have Tenn on a few tickets...but I am not locking them on every ticket. This game should be more a coin flip than a lock. Both teams suck. |

Well you should of gave the man a chance to respond or looked it up yourself before you wrote all that and made yourself look stupid. lol
Titans should cover this one, that's the bottom line. If people are scared to bet this, then bet NE. The public will clean up with NE but will lose with their PITT pick. That's what I'm seeing this week.
I like Arizona -4.5, or especially on a teaser card, because as someone else pointed out, the bills are the most pathetic team in the league. The titans have potential and aren't as bad as most people think. They are a professional team as any other in the league.
Just because a team has a couple bad weeks, everyone goes against them. Never understood that, because I've never heard of a team going 0-16 ATS since I've started in this business. Teams go on streaks just like cappers do. I could make tons of arguments why Tennesee should cover this spread...but it's pointless because it's just overthinking it. Bet who you feel will win. That's the best advice, if you're going to bet at all. |
