Oakland is coming off of their bye, but ATL is coming off of a win in Washington where they didn't play well on defense. ATL's receivers against Oakland's secondary seems like a good matchup in the Dirty Bird's favour.

Thoughts?

I think it could be a low scoring game.  From what I see, Oakland lacks offense

Falcons next to last in rushing D.  Least amount of yards given up this year was 116.

atl is way to good at home for me to take oak ATS, i plan to tease them up to 17. i doubt they lose by more than 2 TD's after a bye week.

i like that oakland has had 2 weeks to prepare.  i like mcfadden . the falcons needed cousins to throw 2 picks to get the win last weekend...but damn they can move the ball at home... def need to look into this game more

Hey Broller...i am currently looking for a stat in another thread to back you on Atlanta at home before their bye week.  This situation could be perfect.

this game will be like Hou/NYJ was on MNF... people see an undefeated team versus a bunch of lowlifes (I mean that literally since I am a Broncos fan lol) and then will jump all over the single digit line and the public fav at home.... Atl will control the game but Oak plays tough after the bye and Atl wins by 7 and Vegas collects again....

Julio and Roddy both are Beasts and Matty Ice has a big day...But Atl's def keeps giving chunks to McFadden and Palmer and Oak scores 21+ to get the cover...It will seem like an easy win for ATL as they are never really challenged for the win... just the cover.

I don't usually bet on my own team, but I think we cover against Oakland. I thought OAK was making progress, but so far by performance and by any statistical measure, they are garbage. I'm surprised, even suspicious, that we're not at least a 10pt favorite, especially given that the public is all over us...like every week. I'm waiting for our overdue disappointment before I bet on us again though.

Best bet for the Falcons is generally under (3 of 5 games under this season). People think high-motor offense and want to go over, but we run the ball consistently and Ryan audibles at the line a lot lately, so we kill a lot of clock. And our poor rush D keeps other offenses on the field just long enough.

I think this game sails over the total, oakland off a bye, good matchup for mcfadden, heyward-bey back, + oakland secondary blows vs Mattys ice, should be fun

Yeah atl rush defense doesnt look good on paper but look at why and who theyve played.  KC.  got yards in garbage time after game was out of hand.  Denver and San Diego both have good to great passing games and Atlanta had to defend the pass first.  Then you got the Cam Newton and RG3 teams who are hard to defend the run.  Oakland is one dimensional.  Take down Darren and goodnight sweetheart.  Dont tell me any of you believe in Palmer?

Look at the last 11 games the RAIDERS have played off a bye week ....
