The only problem with this analogy is the Texans will most likely be bringing a few rifles along with them.

GL with the play though. It's definitely a bold one.

Hey guys look its "primetime" the loser who plays with monopoly money. Dude you backing him up just makes him look like his pick is complete garbage. Let him ride it and stay on your own thread and stop giving bad advice to people. You can't compare two completely different teams in the "Pats and Cards" to the "Texans and Jets". Zona has something the JETS don't friggin have, and that's one of the best WRs in the league in Fittzyy, plus the texans are solid at every single damn position right now. Why are you answering anything in his thread? Who are you? An AL Capone wanna be? Internet tough guy using a dead mobsters name to try & get respect..........GTFO with your sarcastic B.S.

You have something positive to add to the mans thread, fine, if not, stay out of it & start your own thread telling everyone how the Texans will blowout the Jets Monday night.

I have enough respect not to troll someones thread & by the way, I have the Texans +2.5 in a 3 team teaser...............the thing I am telling him is to stay far away from clowns like yourself because the only thing guys like you do is belittle people before the game & then are no where to be seen after the game when the guys team covers the spread..................

Im not going anywhere brother,  and I will be back in here with post game analysis.  I dont bet more than I can afford to lose.  Even though it is a ton on the line I dont cry about my losses and take it like a man.  Just have to build it back up again.  But I am pretty sure about this play.  But nothing is a lock....i know this.  But you got my word i am staying and I am a man of my word

And will some of you stop wit the Monopoly money BS....This is serious garbage and like a career to me on the financial aspect.  My family relies on me to provide for them and know this is what I do.  I have a ton riding on this.  But its not gonna break me for people sakes...lol....but it is certainly American money.  I also have some friends in Vegas tailing me on this play so many people are looking up to me to pick things correctly.  And as far as I am concerned my record speaks for itself.  Wether its' $200,000 or $200 on a game, I agree that money is money

___________________________________________

Houston has a pure points differential of a +67 thru 4 games (126-59) which means they are beating thier ave opp's power rating ( 17) by 16.7 pure points per game . That gives Houston a 33.7 season rating to date.

The Jets on the other hand have a ppd of - 60 thru 4 gms(43-102) which means they are losing to thier AOPR ( 20.5) by -14.75 pppg, This gives Jets a 5.9 season rating

33.7 - 5.9 = 27.8    (Houston by 28)

Ill break it down a little further. Houston's last 2 road games ppdiff. is a +28  (58-30) + 6pts for HFD (disadvantage)+34 or +17 pppg L2 away gm's: Houston's a.o.p.r last 2 rd gms: 17.5 > @ den. (21.5) and @ jack (14)  17.5 +17  giving Houston a 34.5 road rating L2 Rd gms.

Jets L2 home gms ppdiff. is a -38 (17-55) - 6 HFA  points -44 or -22 pppg @ home. Jets last 2 home opp's ave rating is 19.5  (SF 23.5 )and (Buff 15.5) . 19.5 - 22.5pppg gives the Jets a -2.5 rating for this game -->  THATS A -2.5. compared to Houstons 34.5 rating.Thats a 37point difference between these 2 teams.

When the jets played buffalo in wk 1 they scored 31 points off of buffalos miscue's to win that gm 48-28. They havent had the luxury of doing that since and wont have the luxury of scoring any special teams etc points off turnovers on Houston in this game. If fitz didnt give them the game Jets score 17 points max.and give up 28 on defense.Jets are going to need more than that to even cover 9

I mean no disrespect to you my friend. However, a person who has been around the bigs and vegas, and who initially was going to ride Houston to the end but switched putting 53% of his bank on the jets..?..is not wize.

The numbers are there: 34-3 Houston

Thanks for the solid info Wizer....I appreciate it.  But like I said I have no statistical data to support this game.  If I did it would point to the Texans hands down.  But capping a game takes more then just plugging in numbers.  It takes intuition,  the ability to look beyond the obvious and ascertaining an outcome.  Situational factoring.  I agree on paper the Texans look to destroy the Jets,  my gut and intuition tell me otherwise.  Have you not ever felt it?  Where something just is not right? not truth?  Like when a mother senses her son is in trouble without knowing for sure only to find that he was a victim?  I felt that this week after the Jets loss to SF and Houston blew out yet another opponent.  The obvious call is the Texans, my gut and intuition say no.  GL

Razor someone said they like your write up or some garbage.  Well wtf does your write up say..... nothing other  than your putting 53% on Jets in many ways.  So I must ask for a reason or any reasoning to bet on Jets other than your gut feeling.  Even the best slip up man.  Are you slipping or do you have something anything?  I will say if Tebow comes in and plays more the Texans could be caught off guard and then it could happen.  But I cant for the life of me figure out any reason to take Jets ML.  Points ok I can see they are gonna give it their all and make it a game, but really win?  How?

NOT UNLOAD 50% OF MY CURRENT BANKROLL ON THE JETS+9 THIS WEEK???

As well as the ML....

I loved Houston this past week but now that this week is over this just sets up a too good to be true scenario here.

JET STRAIGHT UP AND +9 AT HOME??

I AM ABOUT 85% SURE SO FAR I AM GOING TO DO THIS. MY GUT IS JUST TELLING ME THERE IS NO WAY THIS DOESN'T WORK OUT FOR ME

Somebody save me from myself.

We are trying but your not listening.  Lol

There's a better chance of laying  all that money down on Red  then trying to pull a rabbit out of a hat a la the New York Jets SU.

I honestly can't see how a team who couldn't put up a point against the 49ers now actually beat a team the same quality, if not better at this point, on a MNF game!!!

The Jets have a top 5 worst QB in the league by the name "DirtySanchez" and you expect that mexican to beat the Texans SU?!?!? I hope you have a plan B or something, or at least know the fix is in for this game because all signs are pointing to Houston.. although a +9 cover is possible Houston can EASILY win by 10-20 points.

Good luck and I don't wish to bring you bad luck.. I really hope your right but I hope I am more right by betting the Texans.

I like this play a lot. Nothing like a live home dog on Monday night! Sure, the texans might want to prove something on a big stage but most importantly they just want a W. Dont think the Jets aren't coming in with a chip on their shoulders. They have this game circled and they'll give it their best shot not to get embarrassed. Public perception changes week to week in the NFL. All it takes is one big win in their own house against the undefeated texans to fire up the tebow hype again. Don't get me wrong, the jets suck and ill probably be against them next week, but I think this is a great spot for them. The intangibles will favor the home dog. Good luck, Razor.

Razor,

Love your write-ups and honesty. Just recently joined this site. I am not sure about the Jets on the ML, but I am sure about the Jets covering the spread. This is about the situation, and the simple fact is the Texans will have a LOSS next to their name as far as the spread, it's a given. Well, it is to me. Those taking Houston??? lol Well, better have alot of beer handy for the depression you're about to incur!! And, if you aren't posting your own plays, quit cutting up someone that does and tires to help others win like Razor does...I'll be doing that as well. And, if you don;t follow me, I could care a less, just trying to help somebody. I have a strong Saturday coming and not much for Sunday at this point..anyway, good luck Razor, keep up the great work!! J E T S!! jets, jets jets....later!!

I can see they are playing GREAT football, but not alot of people would have picked them SU when they played SF... Hindsight is ALWAYS 20/20

not hating here, but if your a serious bettor on sports and doing it for a living, there's no way you should be putting over half your roll on one game. You should know this, never favor one game too much over another. I know off a few sharp people that were on the jets last week, one being chris andrews, former sportsbook director of calnevada book.

also,if you are on the jets, you should be waiting till gameday to take a dog,as line will prolly hit 10,anticipating public will be on texans. At cantor here in vegas,it's 9.5 on wed allready. so you have a bad line already.
