Week3: 3-4, -1.55 units
Preseason so far: 13-7-1, +5.25 units
I won't be placing more than 2 or 3 bets Week 4, so I am guaranteed of a winning preseason for the 10th time in 12 years (and one of the other times I broke exactly even. Last year was my only losing preseason betting).
But here's one for week 4:
Ravens +5 vs Rams (Intertops) -- The Raven backup defense has looked excellent in 2 of the 3 games so far this year. QB duties will be split between Tyrod Taylor and Curtis Painter; Tyrod has looked good in 2 of 3 games so far, and Painter looked excellent last week. The Ravens have a bunch of WRs who have had good camps battling for the #5 WR spot (and #6 if they decide to keep #6) so Tyrod and Curtis should have plenty of targets. So even though the starters won't play at all, I really don't see why this line is so high.
