Still taking 2o step drops

Iv been saying here for over 2 years how he just sucks at QB, He is always looking for the Bomb or big play on every down, the idiot doesnt understand football is a thinking mans game, the ultimate game of chess, thats why there are check downs, screen passes, Play action passes, I still cannot understand for the life of me, How they compare a Beast of a man ike Cam Newton to this fragile imbecile.

Newton is the real deal, While Vick is injury prone and doesnt understand the game of football.

Maybe you should be his coach...you sound if you have a brilliant football mind.

Its not gonna work.

Hard to believe Vick's been in the league 11 yrs now.

He's got the physical ability, but I don't think the mental.

Newton played great last year....lets see how the sophomore jinx does.......

Cam Newton is a beast and he is clutch...

He had some growing pains last year, no doubt, but I think he'll break out and NEXT year will be considered an elite qb

really ?

No question he had a great rookie season , but his #s were inflated due to the fact they were behind in every game.  Teams just drop back and play prevent.  Just look at the game he played against the bears game last year.

It will be a different story when defenses have video on you.  Look at Vick in 2010, he was a MVP candidate and then look at him last year.  Once defenses have time to study these running QBs they will be clamped down. What ever happened to the "Wildcat" ?

I guess you didnt watch him take a mediocre Auburn squad and come back against LSU and Alabama, huh?   Oh yeah, NAtional Championship...

What do Tee Martin, Ken Dorsey, Josh Heupel, Robbie Boscoe, Chris Weinke and Cam Newton have in common? :)

I am not sold on Newton yet. As a previous poster said, his stats were inflated last year because he spent most of the 4th quarter (and sometimes 3rd quarter) playing against prevent defences...

Comparing apples to oranges...  Those guys were "trent dilfers" on loaded teams.  Auburn wasnt loaded at all, a .500 team without Cam AT BEST

So if a COLLEGE qb wins a national championship that makes him a great NFL qb ?  Tebow has 2 national championship, so i guess that makes him a future hall of famer ......

Comparing college football to the NFL is foolish.

That Carolina team was pure garbage last year.   People predicted them to go 2-14.

"Despite their losing record, Carolina made many improvements. According to Football Outsiders, the Panthers had the biggest year-to-year offensive improvement in their history: they were dead last in 2010, and moved up to 4th offensively in 2011, according to Football Outsiders'statistical formulas."

never been a fan of Vick, or qbz that rely on their legs to get em 1st downs, Tebow will end up like Vick, broken. what's the average career of an NFL rb? 4 years or something like that.

not like everyone can replicate Brady, Rodgers, Manning's, Brees etc... either way, guy has made a garbage load, so ya he's successful.

Look guys most of the qb's are pretty good the diff between good and great is studying film and more practice Vick, young and even kolb have the talent but dont apply themselves to understand that football is  constantly evolving so once they apply themselves like Peyton, Brady, and Rogers then they must rely on their physical talents over the mental
