Weak arm, can't scramble and not smart. I live in Houston and know this team. They will win the division, by fault, then lose round 1, trust me.

This is their biggest loss.  They have to find a way to get production, both blocking and catching, from the TE position.  That said, the Texans are definitely serious contenders this year.

You might as well burn the ticket up because Schaub and Andre are locks to get hurt at some point.

Crash, Schaub has a weak arm, that is well known. Look how the recievers has to come back to the ball. Also, his time in the 40yd dash is over 6 seconds. So to repeat what i said. He has a WEAK ARM, AND CAN'T SCRAMBLE

Houston is a popular pick this year...their offense is scary but they lost some leadership and playmakers on defense. Good luck.

Lost a lot of key components on D and offense?  On defense they lost Mario - who was hurt the majority of last season - the replacements filled in just fine for him.  They lost Demeco - great leader and great guy, but he was slowing down too and was only in on 1st and 2nd down anyway - didn't fit the defense.  And Jason Allen.  Other than that -they are all back and have had more time to learn Wade's defense.  Plus they added Merciless (sp?) who is going to fit in nicely.  Don't know what you mean by losing key components on D.

And on offense, they lost Winston (RT) who is overrated - and Briesel, who got overpaid by Oak.  You hate to screw with the chemistry on the o-line, but they weren't probowlers or anything like that - they won't hurt much at all.  Then they lost Jacoby - bye bye - and Dressen - definitely a loss, way underrated.  But now James Casey gets to fill in and young Garret Graham gets to show his stuff -Kubiak has already been extremely pleased with him.

They did not lose THAT important of players.  You just sound like a hater.  Not saying they will win the superbowl, but they def have a shot and will def have a top defense.

Jason Allen led the team in interception's, GONE. DRyans was the 2nd leading tackler on the team, GONE. JDressen led the team in TD catch's, GONE. GONE is 2 starting linemen. How can some of you people say the Texans didn't lose key components, they did. And one more thing, the kicker is GONE, they have a rookie kicker. In the playoff's, rookie kicker are worthless.

That is so funny. Everyone comes to this thread to bash the pick and you call it popular.
They are the quietest  12-1 shot you could ever find and that is why  I did.
BTW
2-0 preseason.

Ravens or Patriots vs Packers or 49ers Super Bowl.

I don't see the Texans making it.

Cal Bear said it was a popular play not me
Ahh hello - your looking at the guy who saw the Giants going all the way and called it along with them playing the Patriots in the Superbowl - Gunshard is right - Ravens or Patriots vs 49ers or Packers or Giants again - Houston has no chance - Joe Flacco and Tom Brady are way to sick

Brady gets the ball out fast - they have to many talented receivers and tight ends. It's not as big of a problem when you have so many throwing options. Brady is a very durable QB and knows how to roll with hits to avoid injury. The Patriots are going to remain a big player in the AFC - GRONKOWSKI is the Real Deal

I have 1000 on the Bears, 49ers, and green bay..  I was thinking of adding Houston ,.. Not sure yet..  I'm hoping the Bears do it, so i can tke them to the bank.  Packers look serious though.

Patriots O line are young, but you never know with Belichick and brady.  I usually call it round week 8.  I rode the giants he whole way ladt year and put a dime on them in the final, but hedged my bet in the 2nd half because i thought the giants were done like an idiot.  If only Welker had caught that pass, it wouldve been over.

Man The Giants are getting no respect from Pharobis or anyone _ I thought winning the Superbowl once little lone Twice would get you respect but I guess some people see through Gold. Anyone who has knocked of the Mighty New England Patriots twice in the Superbowl of all things deserves Respect
