I wish it was two different teams for this game to open up the preseason.  I usually look at the coaches record heavy and how good the 3rd and 4th string QBs are, but with all that has happened with NO, its tough to tell.  I am leaning towards NO first half, Arizona ML, and the over.  Any thoughts?

Saints D is better with an actual coach who teaches a legit scheme than one who just blitzes every other down.

Saints O will be fine.

Saints and the under.

I like Arizona because Beenie Wells is expected to play and Kevin Kolb is competing for the starting Job and Skelton has talent will play later in the game - also I like going against the Favorite in the first game to get things going + Ken Wizenhunt was part of a steelers team that played every preseason game hard - by the way I love the Steelers - I have them at +2.5 and the line moved to Eagles -1 because the Eagles are the so called dream team the lines maker is trying to make it easy for people to jump on them - Steelers also have Chalie Batch who has won many preseason games in the past

NO -3 - Wisenhunt is not much for preseason and NO may be a little fired up over all the suspension and such.  But I like the NO 1H angle.  Maybe even 1Q if Brees plays more than 1 series.

Good luck - so happy we have options other than MLB...

I'm leaning Saints too, if I remember right, Chase Daniels lit it up a few times in last years preseason, as well too much is being made of the Cards " QB battle", after the starters leave the field who exactly does the QB have to throw to either than backups and roster hopefulls?

no sh-t dyamarik - I get depressed when it's just baseball for months on end - I used to be into baseball when my book paid alot for Tie Games in baseball (a tie game being within 1 run or extra innings) but I won so much money even $2000 in one day that they cut the odds down because of me, and now I don't have much reason to watch baseball so I just watch reruns on Tv - It sucks, someone should invent another sport that's good and runs from April to August, September. Im starting to feel fired up though know NFL is coming back - F-ck I sure hope the NHL doesn't strike - that would hurt me anyway good luck in the hall of fame game - But I am promising you the STEELERS WILL BEAT THE EAGLES IN PRESEASON WEEK ONE - YOU HAVE MY WORD

Give me the team that has the quarterback competition going on. Cardinals win 24-13

fsutomahawk knows whats up - yeah F picking the Saints favoured by a little - heck the last time the Saints were favoured by -3.5 against the 49ers and we all know how that turned out - By the way I was on the 9ers - I think the score will be close if not exactly what fsutomahawk called 24-13

Don't look at last year in regards to the Saints D when capping this year. Gregg Williams' blitzed his way to that loss. He dialed it up and it worked the year they won the SB, but his schemes failed miserably the last 2 seasons.

Spagnuolo is a huge upgrade at DC.
